I am registered nurse and I'm currently in med school studying to be a doctor. I can tell that condoms reduce the risk of pregnancy and STDs it doesn't eliminate it. Condoms are not totally safe because during intercourse both genitals are touching which you may come in contact with HPV(google it) and inside the male condom the "juices" from inside the condom are constantly being moved back and forth which sometimes may come in contact with the female. Best advice use the right size condom or use two condoms or practice abstinence.

Yes, when used consistently and correctly, condoms are over 99% effective at preventing pregnancy and some STDs. Make sure that when putting it on, it's on before any intercourse occurs, make sure there's a bit of room at the tip to contain the ejaculation, and make sure that the condom is taken off and discarded as soon as intercourse is over to avoid any spilling out.

It's 89% effective for preventing pregnancy when no other birth control is used. Not high enough to risk it if you ask me, that's a 1 in 10 chance that pregnancy will happen!!
Oh and perhaps I should mention that I got pregnant while only using a condom when I was 19... with TWINS!!! :-)

Only if the man's got it on right. And yes, it's very effective in preventing unwanted pregnancy and avoiding STDs. The guy should make sure to read the directions and follow them to the letter. A lot of guys think they know all about it, but they don't.

some issues are a hundred% useful. case in point, i've got faith that the guillotine replaced into a hundred% useful at attaining its purpose. in spite of the undeniable fact that, while it contains some thing it is ninety 9.9% useful, like and sanitizer, you're maximum remarkable to think which you do no longer arrive at a hundred% useful via means of using it two times, nor does doubling up on start administration supply better than a hundred% effectiveness (the reality which you have stated 188.8% effectiveness could be a clue, in view that a share of better than a hundred% is nonsensical. this isn't any longer inevitably basically a case of taking yet another ninety 9.9% out of the .a million% left over as you recommend with the antibacterial, because of the fact between the justifications that the .a million% wasn't killed by using the 1st utility may be that it is resistant; meaning that the 2nd utility would be far much less useful share clever than the 1st, in view it is being utilized against a greater resistant base of micro organism.

Usually. Unless it breaks. Make sure they fit right and are not too tight or too loose and make sure they are new. The old one that has been in his wallet for a year is not cool to use.
