My five-month old baby girl laughs a great deal and I enjoy finding things that stimulate her amusment. What has been your tried-and-true way of getting your baby to giggle?

I dance like a monkey... my wife gets a kick out of it too... and one of my neighbors snickers when I walk by... not sure if it's related

Mine seems to really enjoy quick, rapid movements: Like when I shake my head and hands at here really fast. Also, she like to hear her name when I say it in loud, strange voices. But the way I've found that really gets her going is to basically copy the sounds she makes: She'll make a gurgling noise and then I'll make it back we will go back and forth like that for a while and she laughs. Also, making little plush dolls "hug" her face and taking it away real fast seems to work. But, then, my little girl is almost always laughing and smiling. Good luck.

I like to hold my baby close and put her face against mine and sway back and forth towards a mirror making a swooshing noise when we get close. She just gets a kick out of it. Also peek-a-boo is a big hit!

Have you ever seen the Saturday Night Live movie "Superstar"? One day I decided to take his hands and put them over his head and say "Superstar!", just like she would do on the movie. He just cracked up! Peeking around the corner works great too.

When I was small and in the bath tub, my dad would stick his head in the water right next to me and make lots of bubbles and sounds. It made me laugh everytime and apparently I couldn't get enough of it!

My 4 month old son likes it when we put a cover over his head and then pull it off quickly. He also likes it when I do animal noises for him. His favorite is my duck voice.

usually the insides of babies' legs, up by the thighs, are really ticklish; also try eskimo kisses and whispering in her ear.

squirting water in their face, scaring them, talking to them, popping out from around a corner, playing peek-a-boo is always best I think .

Try taking a feather and brushing it on her nose and face.
