Sounds like a hungry baby... awww lol . I started my kids on veggies 4 mths. I gave each variety for 4 days to check for allergies and then did the same with fruit. How much formula are you giving her ? maybe you should give her a couple more oz. of formula ... thats still the most important thing she will be eating right now. I was giving my son 7oz every 4 hours at 4.5 months. Babies at that age can drink from 32 - 36 oz a day. Now my son will be 6 months tomorrow and he has his formula every 4 hours plus a jar of fruit, veggies, and cereal everyday.

a baby should not be having any solids until eventually they are 6 months previous or older. So do not commence vegetables and fruit until eventually she is a minimum of 6 months previous. toddlers decrease than 6 months previous are not waiting for solids and it would desire to reason them a great style of issues, she would desire to choke, because of the fact the gag reflex isn't developed and likewise if she will't sit down up nicely, she is a lot extra probable to choke. It additionally creates digestion subject concerns considering the fact that there digestive platforms are immature, it would desire to reason diarrhea, constipation, tummy discomfort, and indigestion. It additionally would reason nutrition appropriate hypersensitive reactions to advance in the event that they are given solids too early. it rather is superb to attend until eventually a minimum of 6 months previous and then basically whilst she is waiting; sitting up on her very own and whilst breast milk or formulation isn't sufficient for her anymore. - Amy

I would wait until she is 6 months before giving her anything other then cereal or formula. You are "suppose" to introduce veggies first. Then introduce fruits.

I started my daughter off with baby rice at 16 weeks, by 17 weeks she was eating pureed fruit & vegetables.
Noone knows your own children more than you, if you think she is ready for something a bit tastier & filling then go ahead.
Yesterday my daughter who is now 19weeks ate pureed chicken with butternut squash (homemade) & she ate about 3 table spoons worth!!!

We have been using the recipes and advise in the book "Super Foods" by Annabel Karmel. We are making the fruit and vegetable food (organic) ourselves and using organic rice and oatmeal from Gerber. It has been going very well. The book my wife got on Amazon.

Momma always told me that I could put down steak and mash potatoes and then cry for desert and yell for cookies and I was just 12 months old.
Momma said I never got constapted, but it definitely opened up a valve.

Our 2 ate mashed potatos, mac & cheese, anything soft enough to chew at 6 months. They eat more foods than most other kids do now.

yeah at about 4 months you can introduce the single fruit baby foods. Just stay on one thing for 5 days to make sure she isn't allergic to it.
