My mother in law just told me that she got her daughter's ears done at the doctor's office and wants me to do it there,too. That sounds more safe. But I've never heard of that..Has anybody else?

i am gonna get together with my Fiance on sunday thats 14 day from my periods.i wanna have a baby but my fiance always comes outside.is it still possible that even though he comes outside i can still get pregnant?Wat should i do so i can pregnant this time.????

i have heard that if we have sex on the days when the chinese calender predicts to get a selected gender of the baby.can any one prove this for me so that i can go ahead and plan my baby.

i am 11 weeks pregnant and experiencing light crapmingit doesnt hurt just uncomfortable..is this normal or should i be concered...it lasts about 5 mins then goes away...for anywhere between 2 hours- a couple days...are these braxton hicks??

Why do people assume that just because I look young that I'm a single mom with no future who is depending on the government?

I'm about to turn 20, I've been married since I was 17(because we wanted to get married, not because I was pregnant), and I have a 6 month old son who has everything he needs and then some.

I don't have to work, but I choose to so that I have something to do and I have great friends at my job, I pay for my own childcare, but I usually don't have to because I trade off childcare with a friend or my husband keeps him.

So, what gives people the right to assume, and talk down to me, just because they think I'm a 16 year old high school drop out?

My nearly 9 month old has been waking at night for the past 2 months (usually just the once) and after speaking to a nurse I am convinced now that it's attention seeking - there are no physical issues and after I go into him 3 or 4 times in an hour he settles. So I started the controlled crying thing and for the first 2 nights he went back to sleep on his own after 20mins but last night (night 3) it took 30mins. I had read that this technique should fix it after 3 nights so now I'm concerned it's not going to work. Not very patient of me I know but I desperately need my sleep and am feeling so worn out. Would love to hear others experiences.

I have a two year old daughter, and two year olds are supposed to go to bed at 7 or 8 right? Well she doesn't finally pass out till 11 or 12!!! I work full time and so does her Dad. We are exhausted!! I am so tired, I just want to SLEEP! Plus I have no ME time so sometimes I go days without showers, I have no time for myself! I'm going crazy, What do I do?

Earlier I posted a question about how society is to blame for alot of our lost youth. A teacher responded to my question by saying it is the parents fault. But let me ask you this? Do we not as parents trust in the system that is supposed to protect our children. Do we not as parents have to work long hours just to be able to provide for the demands of that system. If the parents rely on the system such as schools, teachers, counselors, and any other aid that they need to maintain balance in their lifes, then whos fault is it the
parents, or the parents who rely on the system? I was so very angry by the teacher comment, because it wasnt her child it's not her responsibility. So who's is it? Every child is our future and therfore it is our responsibility as a sociey to ensure our future, if we dont how will we ever have one.

I don't know if that is what is happening but my 2 year old son wakes in the middle of the night screaming. He doesn't want me to hold him or even touch him but he just wants me near. It is hard for me to get him to go back to sleep as he is wide awake by the time he calms down. This only just started happening a couple weeks ago.
Does anyone know why this happens or if there is something I can do to help him?

I am 7 weeks pregnant, and yesterday I bleed for like 10 minutes and it was hardly anything... I mean I wiped and I saw... then like 20 minutes went to check again and then there was no more blood.Is this normal I havent bled anymore Please help

Ok so... I'm home alone with my little sister, my mom and other 2 sisters are out in a trip.... My dad is out working.... and my little sister just got for the 1st time her monthly visitor!!! I asked last night if there would be a way to sell my photography. Nobody answered. :-) So, I'm asking it here (I know it's miscategorized, but this seems to be a hot section here and I figured I get at least 2 or 3 answers..I guess the people in the "hobby" section aren't as enthused.) Anyway, can I sell my own photography? I've been told many times over that it's good. I've gotten some on television and people say "That should be in National Geographic!" I have a feeling that because so many people have made that comment that maybe they aren't just blowing smoke up my ***. Is there really a way to sell my photography and get it in magazines and stuff like that?

I have for many years made my wife use the black plastic bin liner method for contraception.

As is normal in these reproductive matters, whenever my wife sits down in chair that I have used, she must cover the seat with the bin liner so that we do not bring an unplanned baby into the world.

However this morning I was shocked when she told me she is pregnant.

She says that one day last month when she was very tired she forgot to put a plastic cover onto the sofa before sitting down. I however suspect that she has been using the bus without taking safety precautions, and has not been telling me.

All this has come as a shock, especially after I took such care to explain the risks to her - and it is already placing a strain on our marriage.

How can I find out if the baby is mine?
