Braxton hicks are too early to start. they usually start around the 2nd trimester. U are probably experiencing round ligament pain. It can happen anytime in pregnancy and is just your uterus stretching to accomodate your growing baby. U might feel it worse on one side or right smack in the lower middle area. Also drink a lot of water. U can cramp throughout your entire pregnancy if u have low intake of water and are lighly dehydrated. U should be drinking 8-12 8 oz glasses of water a day.
dont worry yourself it is completely normal as I had the same thing happen to me with both of my babies.
Good Luck!

Nope, its too early for braxton hicks.. though what you are feeling is basically the same thing. In the beginning your uterus is trying to get bigger. This makes it contract and cramp up sometime, or you may be feeling the muscles around your uterus, which are stretching to accommodate its new size and weight. Later, it will cramp up in preparation for labor, right now, your body is trying to fit baby in your belly. Don't worry about it unless it becomes excruciatingly painful, or hurts consistently one one side more than the other. As always, when in doubt ask your doctor. Best of luck to you...

go to the doctor. I don't think braxton hicks are suppposed to start until about 18 weeks.
It could be ligaments stretching at your abdomen - it would be around the bottom right above your hips. this is common especially in your first pregnancy.
If it isn't that, then call the doc.

could be the round ligaments stretching... I think it's possible to be braxton hicks, but for me that felt more like a tightening on the top of my belly and occurred much later. This website a few more suggestions.

Round Ligament Pain.....it will happen the rest of your pregnancy. Its too early for braxton hicks. If the cramping is followed by bleeding....call your ob/gyn or go to the E.R. immediately.

Good Luck

At this stage, it is your uterus stretching. Probably not braxton hicks this early, I never felt them till about the last half of the pregnancy.

i would call your doctor still to get it checked even if its a normal thing.
I was feeling cramps and i even called my doc and they said it was normal but the following week when i went for my checkup i had miscarriage.
Not to scare you but things like that should be checked just to make sure.

you r prob just feeling the baby growing inside of you but do get it checked just in case.

its probably the stretching of the lining for the baby to fit in side you so dont worry unless theres craping with bleeding....
