Pregnancy & Parenting - 24 September 2006

Im 5 weeks pregnant and occasionally get a mild twinge in my lower right abdomen. I don't feel its anything serious and have been told it could be round ligament pain. My question is for those who have had it: When do u start getting this and for how long in the pregnancy does it go on? I had it last week for a day or so and then nothing. It started again yesterday afternoon and tailed off. Ive only had one or two twinges this morning. I don't want to go rushing back to the docs again if there is no need so any sensible advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello.
Lately I`ve been stressed out by my little twindaughters ,age 9 months and 3 weeks.They`re not eating properly,just nibbling.I`m still brestfeeding both of them,but they are getting plenty of choice in solids as well.They used to eat almost everything what we were eating,95% is cooked from scratch(I do love cooking and so does my partner),then specially softened and blended for babygirls,so they can have.They`ve been having plenty of fruits.Everything was working for really reasonable period of time,actually from the start of feeding with solids.But what`s happening now.They are still quite active,they do all things what they are supposed to do.And I presume they`re burning quite a bit of their calories.And they should`ve been eating but instead they are just so playful.
Mums and dads,everyone who has common or known similar situation,pls give us some advice.

i had my last period on aug. 7 and it was due again on the 13th of sept. it didnt show, so i took a doctors urine test on the 14th and it was negative, i then took a hpt on the 15th and still neg..i talked to my lil' sitser which has had 2 kids already and her and a few others said sometimes you can go months without a positive..she went 4 months and still had her period monthly till she found out she was pregnant...she told me to wait 14-28 days after my missed pd to test to be sure...i've been taking prenatal vitamins for a 2 months, and me and my husband tried every other day in the month of aug..im 22 and hes 23...im 12 days late now, no spotting or sore breast at all...just some mild headaches, mild pain sometimes in my lower abdomen and a few days ago, i was bloated so bad that it kinda hurted to bend over or down (i never experienced that b4)...Could i be wanting this so bad that my mind is playin tricks on me or could i possibly be pregnant???

I have a 10 month old with 6 baby teeth. Although he likes to stick his toothbrush in his mouth, he hates his teeth being cleaned and just closes his mouth tightly! Any suggestions? And, how often do you need to clean a baby's teeth?

We were talking about the 11 year old who thought she was pregnant (yesterday's Yahoo) and she told me about her friend who is having sex, one of quite a few. She said that kids get the message that having sex is part of life and that kids who don't have condoms will just go ahead anyway, trusting to luck.
Isn't that sad. The way we're teaching our kids is confusing. We're givng them mixed messages. Teenage pregnancies are on the increase, compared with the USA where they're dropping. I don't believe that sex outside marriage is wrong, but what is the answer?

own Hokkien song , which my son likes to listen . When I played the Kids CD , he just don't like to watch & he just walk away . My son is now 1 1/2 years . Is it because of my mother in law that's why my son react this way ? How should I solve this problem ? Hello, i am a 24 year old female, haha obviously.. and have been with the same man for just about 4 years now. ive been trying to get pregnant for the past 3 years and i just am not able to conceive. because me and him are loyal to one another and are in a stable relationship living with one another i havent used any protection/birth control and i still have not gotten pregnant.. what could be wrong? and any ideas on how i can make it happen?
