I am breastfeeding my 31/2 month old daughter and lately my milk production is decreasing. She eats and then is very hungry. How do I increase my milk supply. I have tried pumping and it is not working.

Should i put my fiance as the father of my child or should i leave it blank. I dont wish to have the biological father listed due to the fact that he has done nothing to help out with something he created. My fiance wants to be considered as the father of this child but would it be better to leave it blank and have him adopt the child afterwards. And if so how do you go about an adoption like that?

I am 6 months pregnant now, and the emotions are pooring down on me. Anything can set me off and it's getting irritating!
This afternoon I found out my husband who has been working nights for the past 2 weeks and was on call this weekend (he's an electrician) had to take a call this afternoon at 4:00pm. I thought it wasn't going to be until tonight...
Well I had just gotten done getting ready for us all (we have a 15 month old son) to go out and do something for the day when he told me. It was already 1:30pm, and I was so upset I could not stop crying! I know he has to work because we need the money and I'm a stay at home mom, but he has worked SO much this past week or two that it seems like we never see him. He was also gone all day yesterday, so I went to a birthday party with my son alone anyway, but I miss he help I get with my son when he's home, and just having him around. I am exhausted too, and I'm not the one working so many hours?

My baby girl will be 8 wks old tomorrow. Normally she would nap through the day & night (like most newborns do), but last week she started sleeping through the night (from 11pm to 4am, then from 5am to 8am). Which, hey that's great! But NOW she won't nap during the day. She's tired & you can tell it but she'll sleep for 15 minutes, wake up, cry, demand her pacifier (which she gets), fight with it falling out of her mouth, fall asleep for 15 minutes, later, rinse, repeat.

She fights her sleep so bad. I've tried everything to help her take a nap at least for an hour so she'll feel better, but she isn't having it. She's been wanting to eat more often also, almost like every hour. But around 11pm she goes to sleep like it's no big deal and will sleep all night. Any ideas on what she is going through? Any tips to help me out? Thanks to everyone!

I'm doing a comparison/contrast essay in which I will be outlining the pros and cons of allowing children to have pets at an early age (1-3 years old). I was wondering if anyone could offer any ideas of points I could make in the essay? What I have so far:

Pro- Having pets helps teach children responsibility.
Pro- Studies show children with pets are happier children.
Pro- Teaches children to be compassionate to others
Con- Animal could lose attention
Con- Allergies don't always develop in children until 2-3 years of age
Con- Children cannot be expected to know how to care for an animal alone

I have a 5 year old, and he is way out of control. He says bad words calls me fat. Partly to blame his father. We have been seperated almost 2 years. Everytime his father sees him he comes home calling me bad names. I have tried whiping him, he only laughs at me. Doing time out I have to hold him down the whole time. And taking things from him does not work either. I would really like some advice. I want to be a good mother and want my kids to grow up with resect.

I had pitocin and it hurt violently. I've only had one baby so I'm wondering if there's any chance that if I avoid pitocin next time I won't need drugs. Of course I know it's different from woman to woman and from pregnancy to pregnancy , but I want to know different mom's views on this, especially someone who's had it both ways!

I got off the pill the 29th of Aug. I had my period from the 1st till the 9th of Sept. I took an ovulation test on the 11th or 12th and tested positive. Six days later I started spotting brown...no red....just enough to wear a panty liner. This has been going on for 6 or 7 days now. I seem to spot for awhile during the day and then it stops. When I have my period it is nothing like this. It is always red and heavy. I'm not sure what is going on. Could this be implantation bleeding? Me and my hubby are tyring to get pregnant. Or could this be from going off the pill? Is it too early to take a hpt? Thanks.

I'm 36, I've had 5 miscarriages,2 this year, I've never gone past 7 weeks, (ok I'm tearing up now).....Whew! I've been seeing a reproductive endocrinologist that has been checking my blood every morning, ultrasounds (he says that my uterus & fallopian tubes are great! I'm currently on birth control and i'm a week late for my period. The only time i've had sex in the past 3 months is two days before this period was supposed to come. For the first few minutes we didnt use a condom but then put one on before ejaculation. Is two days enough for my body to realize i'm pregant (if i even am) and not have this period? Should i be worried that my period is late?
