i go to the doctor for the first time. I am 10 weeks, they told me to bring a video tape for the ultrasound, does that mean i will get to see my baby or just listen to the heartbeat

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and when I have a braxton hicks contraction my left hip's muscle squeezes so tight my nerve hurts and the pain shoots down my leg? It's so bad I have to sit down and sometimes tears stream down my face. Have you ever had this or heard of it. I've already told the doctor. I just want to know if any other pregnant or former pregnant mom has ever experienced this.

the HCG level in my blood rose but didnt double over 2 days, I am 6 weeks pregnant and I have no pain or bleeding, I have looked at lots of sites on the subject but cant find out when I should be experiencing pain if it is an ectopic, I know all women are different but surely there must be a stage in ectopic pregnancy where the pain starts, anyone know anything about this??? I am having a scan in 2 days time which should hopefully tell me more but its driving me insane so I thought I would try and find out something more.

i have been classified as a threatened abortion by my ob... i know 1 in 4 women experience bleeding while pregnant and half of those bleeders have successful pregnancys, yes i have bleeding i am probably just about 5 weeks from the last time i had intercourse (not LMP) and yes i HAVE seeked medical attention and regularly talk with my ob on whats going on with my bleeding and have an appt on tues to check my blood...

anyways i want to know about personal experiences with other women wo experienced bleeding while pregnant, cuz they have never done a study about correlation between different bleedings and successful pregnacys (for example i mean how long do ppl who miscarry bleed, how many have cramps and etc)

so what i am really asking is for women to share this info for me, explain to me the details of the bleeding and other sypmtoms uve shared with it, was ur pregnancy successful?

I have tried A&D, desitin, and air. But it seems to be that warm baths are the only thing that soothes my baby's diaper rash and she can't live in the bath tub. She has very senitive skin and gets rashes very easily. In your experience, parents, what have you found that works best?

Does anyone know if nasal congestion and dryness is an early symptom of pregnancy? I am only 7 days past ovulation but for about the last 3 days I have been tired as heck and have bad nasal congestion, mostly in the mornings. My BB's are sore but that happens sometimes before AF. I'm also having a lot of lower back and pelvic pain. Me and my hubby have been trying for 11 months now nad I have been charting for about 3 mos. Temps are still high. Does anyone have any idea if it's a sign or am just wanting it so bad that I think it's a sign?

Okay, we don't 'plan' on having another baby, but aren't 100% against more children either as we're not taking many 'precautions'... but I had also orinally thought that between breastfeeding (with occasional supplementing) and my husband using 'withdrawal' (as he really dislikes condoms)... :P that my chances of getting pregnant were slim to none... now I'm wondering if it was foolish to think that. I haven't taken any pregnancy tests, as we're trying to penny pinch right now, but I have shown NO signs of getting my period... my 'newborn' is 3 months old now (wow time flies)... (and have a 5 year old daughter)... I haven't exactly shown any 'signs' of being pregnant except for maybe extra hunger... but I've been attributing that to 'going back to normal'... after 'forgetting to eat' quite often after baby was born. Am also on fluoxetine from having PPD, but am just now (this week) beginning the steps to wean myself off of them... what are your thoughts and opinions?

I'm only in 7th grade!! I like this guy - I don't know if he likes me!! I"m like obsessed - plus - I'm really not sure if he likes me -
he asked me for mi water bottle - I had already drank 1/2 of it! I gave it to him and he drank it! He also asked me for mi eraser - does he like me?
HE's realli cute and popular, he talks to everyone! HE makes everyone laugh - but - he glances at me during classes and makes me laugh a lot - he's in all of mi classes
I want to ask him out - but what if he says no?? WAT IF??? I WANT to tell him that I like him but - WAT IF he laughs in mi face?? ( He wouldn't do that ) but wat if he says he doesn't like me?

I had a miscarriage in late july. My period returned in early september. Me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex. About a week and a half after my period, my breast became sore. Then about 2-3 days after that just my nipples are sore. I think I could be pregnant, but it's still 5 more days until my period. Just from the last time I was pregnant this is the only real sign I remember. I would love to have a little baby and Pray that I am. My boyfriend Tavares is real supportive and wants nothing more then for me to have our baby. So does anyone think I could be expecting?

Four days ago in school, we had an opening in the schedule and all the guys decided to go play basketball. The girls just stayed outside next to the cafeteria, talking and fouling around. I don’t really like basketball so I stayed with the girls. I was talking with two girls, they where smiling and then without warning a girl grabbed me by the balls and started squeezing, the others noticed and started giggling! The thought of going for her eyes, punching her neck bone, or just knock her out with a punch crossed my mind instinctively, but I did not wanted to hurt her, until it was too late because I started feeling too bad and weak to fight back, and to my surprise she squeezed for a hole minute! If a girl was being abused, me and the guys would kill the freak, but when the roles are reversed, instead of helping me, the girls where all laughing and cheering the hole time!

i don't understand why some women who first of all do not have a career or are finacially stable keep having more and more children for example i know many females who have 3 -4 children all under the age of 6 and have no money why do they keep getting pregant? Hello everyone! I am a mother of 2, and currently a stay at home mom. I have many friends who are parents as well. I have noticed that its pretty easy to find a daycare/babysitter/etc on the weekdays. But most of them close around 6 pm, and most arent open on the weekends.

I was thinking of starting an in-home daycare for night time (overnight as well) hours and for the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

If you are a parent, have you had a difficult time finding a babysitter for night time hours and weekends?

Dont worry, i am licencsed and will have help from other parents...lol.

for 3 nights in a row iv had a dream about my unborn baby and before anyone says it i know you have weird dreams when your pregnant but the are as follows....
1st night - had a dream that i had a massive fat baby
2nd night - had a dream had a tiny tiny baby which my other half gave birth to as i watched on!!! wasn't nice
3rd night- had a dream i gave birth to a boy
so now im just wating to see what weird dream i have tonight!!
but all i want to know really is if these dreams mean specific things?
