I guess that means that they will be doing an us and you will be able to record it. they wouldn't have you bring a VHS just to listen to the heartbeat, the would have asked you to bring an audiotape!

Our Dr told us to bring a video tape for the ultrasound of our son. What they do is video record the ultrasound. You will be able to see the baby move and see whats going on. We took the video tape back each ultrasound and they added on to the end. We have a great 15 minute video of our son prior to being born. Good luck with your pregnancy!

They will probably do a vaginal ultrasound. By the way don't be scared, it's not that bad. But, they will tape it for you so you have a video of your little jelly bean. That's what it will look like. Keep the tape to take back for the rest of your ultra sounds. Even tape the birth at the end! It's amazing to see a tiny smidge turn into a person!!!!

When I was pregant with both of mine and I was in Japan, they told me to bring a video so they could tape the ultrasound for our keepsake, it was not a vaginal one, just a normal ultrasound over my stomach. We didn't get to hear the heartbeat with it, their was no sound, but they may do that seperately. It was cool to go back and watch, you should enjoy it. Have Fun.

They will do a vaginal ultrasound. The video will record the baby (with a vaginal ultrasound you will get to see some detail) and the heartbeat. Have fun and bring your partner.

They will make a video tape of the ultrasound for you to keep. You will treasure it! Don't forget it. They probably won't be able to see much when and if they do another.

I dunno about a vaginal ultrasound, mine was abdominal (at 12 weeks). But anyway, you will get to see the baby! The doppler is used to listen to its little heart.
