If you were a mother , you would know. Our children are only smaal enough to bathe in a washtub for a very short time. After that, they grow up. It is a wonderfull but heart breaking thing to see your baby grow up. You are so sad, but a part of you seems lost. You are not needed in the ways that you were before. Once you have a child, you give up a part of yourself to taking care of him/her. When they no longer need a space that big, you feel a little empty. This moment in the photo is just like any other. A moment in time that may never happen again.

Well I do not know what youmean why do the photographer think this is a moment worthy of our attention. if i was to see a photograph of a women bathing her child in a wash tub all I would think of a mom that and a child getting to know each other why would put them in tub so they can drown no this is your love your precious child you want them to feel safe and you also want them to be safe that is just my opinion
