i wish to go in and talk to my 11 year old brothers teacher to find out their teaching method and why they teach this way. do you have any sudgestions as to how i should go about this?

i am 20 and in college and being the only one in the house to have went to an american school i end up being the one to have to help my brother with his home work. so even though i am an assto him i am willing to try and get him off better than i.

tonight i have found out a major flaw in their teachings! these kids get fake money for some strange reasions that can be used for many things...on thing being paying to take a dump and worse than that they can pay 100 fake bucks to get out of doing their late home work! WTF! also through the years i have found it hard to teach this kid short cuts because his teachers seem to screw him up so much. so how should i go about insulting his teachers with out being too much od anass?

My daughter is 11 years old and in the 6th grade, she has a male teacher. but she has just started her period, durring school! she was mortified... and she waited in the bathroom over an hour, waitng for her teacher to send someone.. he sent her best friend... and she helped her out by giving her a pad. and explaining to the teacher what was going on then tok her down to her second grade teacher (like her second mother) and she took care of her. My daughter doesnt know how to tell her MALE teacher the reason she needs to call her for a pad every so often or needs to go change... any ideas at all!? thank you.

I grew up in a small country town in Texas, and it wasn't until I was in my 20's that I realized that not all children were raised like how me and my brother, and my friends were raised. I guess you could say I grew up sheltered but I was actually in shock to discover that not all people believed as my family and my friends families believed. Here is how I was raised:
I hardly ever disrespected my parents. If I did, I was grounded.
We went to church on Sundays, I went to Sunday school and Bible study on Wednesday. I went to church camp and I babysat for our preacher. Drinking and smoking were not allowed. If you did do that, you had better hope to heck that you didn't get caught. If an unmarried girl got pregnant, she and the father got married. Even if they divorced later on, the child would not be labled a bastard. The elderly people in the community were respected. I did not cause trouble at school. Abortion, child abuse, spouse abuse, promiscuity and drugs were horrible.

I had a 2nd degree tear and was stitched but I have noticed in between that a small pink piece of something is sticking out and when I wipe a certain way it gets to bleeding a small bit..will this heal on its own? Anyone else had this kind of problem - stitches not healing right or coming apart? Its been almost 7 weeks since I had my baby. I went to my 6wk checkup and she seemed to not even really look and said it was fine..which totally ticked me off.

my husband and I are trying to have a baby, so we had sex during my ovulation time, it's been a week already and I know I should wait on the pregnancy test for now, but should I feel any different, morning'sickness, tiredness or anything. because I don't feel any different at all. does that mean I'm not pregnant?

my sister-in-law had a baby last August 18, and seems over protective. The chaos began last Wednesday, when my brother came to my house with the baby. You see they changed his diaper, and gave them 3 oz. of milk. But after the milk the baby continued crying loudly and sucking his left hand intensely, my mom told them to give the baby another onze of milk, so they fed the baby. The kid didnt stop. So my mom told the parents to give the baby a pacifer, the both of them refused to do so, since the pediatrician said "no" (without any explanations) So today they brought the kid again. This time the mom of the kid hardly talked to us, and she told me they fed the baby in their house and changed him, in hopes he wouldnt wake up, since she would never give the baby a pacifer, even if we suggested it, and that because of the extra onze of milk the kid threw up on Wednesday 4 times. I recently found an article that says that pacifers help prevent "SIDs" Which side should I took?

I don't know what to think. My last period was Aug 2nd, and I'm writing this on Sept. 24th. I normally ovulate on day 21, and I thought I did o b/c of cervical mucus. But I didn't get my period. My nipples have been very sore, and I've had a lot of cm recently. I have tested numerous times, and they are all negative. I know that most women would have gotten a positive by now, but is it possible for my urine to give a false negative? Do you think a doc's office would give me a blood test without a positive HPT?

I am 25 years old and my husband is 32 years old. We have been married for one year and would like to start a family.
We have made a mutual agreement that we would like to adopt children instead of having our own.
In the past month, We have visited 2 orphanages and we have contacted a few adoption agencies.
We have seen some older children who need families and some toddlers. We have not seen any infants and the agency has only sent us refferals for older children. My husband and I discussed this over and over and we are considering adopting an older child but have a few concerns.
One of our major concerns is that we will not have the same bond with the child in the future because we weren't there for him or her from the start.

At the orphanage, we really connected with a 5 year old boy. He was so sweet and I fell in love with him immediately.

Are there any people out there who have adopted older children?
If so, any advice for me or things I should know about/consider?

My daughter doesn't sleep during the day unless I'm rocking her to sleep in the glider. Any ideas? I think she is too little to lay her in her bed and let her cry herself to sleep. I don't think I could do that yet. Thank you!

I was wondering what exactly is so bad about cat litter boxes during pregnancy, some say its the actually "stuff" in there and smelling it can do damage. Well if thats the case wouldn't it harm that fetus by just being able to smell it in your house.

Please help! I have looked everywhere online!!! Someone must remember the plastic keepers with a bell in the middle to keep kids from untieing their shoes? You used to get them at Stride Rite with walking shoes, but they don't have them anymore!
