Eat before you even move in the morning. Have your hubby bring you something to bed, or bring it the night before yourself. Take prenatal vitamins when you are going to bed, so you sleep thru any nausea they may give you. Good wishes for your pregnancy.

I ate saltine crackers. with a little 7 up and it worked for me . Just plain old saltine crackers ( under $3.00 ) from the grocery store..good luck. I would question the fee for the prescription is it possible the Pharmacy Tech made an error? Most meds after insurance coverage are not that outrageous---Also, you might want to go to your local drug store and ask the pharmacist for an over the counter recommendation. If I were you I would leave a voice mail for the Dr. that prescribed that medication and tell her you couldn't afford it and ask her/ him for another suggestion...again best wishes.

Take pre-natals at night. Keep crackers by your bed to eat before you get up in the morn. Sip decaf tea. What did the doc give you a script for? Ask for Phenergen. It works for me and never cost me that much or I wouldn't have had it! Also, with my last one, I was working as a server at a resturaunt and had ALL DAY sickness. My friend there bought me some Andes mints and away it went. Peppermint of any kind helps calm nausea.

Preggie pops (available at Maternity stores), helped me a lot during my worst. I also found SweeTarts and lemonhead candies help as well. And my doctor told me to eat whatever makes me feel better and I can keep down for now. Other things that have helped are root beer, milkshakes, the smell of lemons, and sea bands (those sea sickness bands worn on the wrist; you can get those at any drugstore). And make sure that you don't let your stomach get empty. That can make morning sickness worse. But experiment, and see what helps. A website you may want to look into is www.babycenter.com It has a ton of info on pregnancy, and I really like it. Hang in there. I hope you feel better soon.

Urk, trust me, I understand how awful it is. It's probably all day too. I'm 10 wks pg now and have tried everything since week 6 to find relief. Different things work in different stages. You will get so sick of plain crackers, biscuits and toast. All you can do is eat or drink what you "feel" you can at the time. I don't like ginger and everyone was trying to ram it down my throat. I ate quite a bit of crystalised ginger in first weeks, and now I don't like it even more! Keep things plain is all I can suggest - Boring, I know! Good luck, I'm still waiting for it to go away. :(

My morning sickness was so bad and nothing really helped (gosh and I tried everything). The medicine only made me sleep all the time which was much better than puking all the time :-(

I got a pill splitter and just took 1/4 of the pill at a time (the pill was 25 mg of generic phenergan so I was taking about 6.25 mg) and that worked pretty well. The whole pill was just too much.

Good luck and congratulations!

It depends on your type of morning sickness. With my first pregnancy , all I did was throw up and then I felt better. I tried eating the saltine crackers before I even got out of bed. It did make me feel better, but I usually ended up throwing up anyways. This pregnancy , I am nauseous the whole day. The saltine thing doesn't work. I do not vomit or anything. I just feel sick. As soon as I wake up , I need to feel my stomach with food. If I do not eat right away then I am doomed to a whole day of sickness and laying on the couch.

I have been eating ginger when I get sick it does the trick for me and I can continue working full time. I went to the supermarket last night and you can get these little gummy bears that are ginger flour that are all natural, and theres things like ginger concentrate and also ginger beer.
I have heard that peperment tea is good to.
Good luck its all worth it

You can try the advice of others, but don't be surprised if you end up like me, where I found NOTHING to help. But that was only me personally.

Do try to eat right when you're hungry, and don't wait too long, even if it's just a quick grab snack. Sometimes waiting too long to eat can make it worse.

I used hard ginseng candy (available at most GNC type stores) as soon as morning sickness set in on all 6 of my pregnancies. Never bothered me again
