The naked truth, honey, is that your skin's elasticity is determined by your genetic makeup. Some women can get huge and pregnant and have their tummies snap back to smooth and others have to deal with saggy, stretched out skin. That being said, rubbing cocoa butter on your skin, painting your toenails and putting makeup on are all things that will keep you feeling positive about yourself while your body changes. Your cuddly, warm baby will be well worth the saggy skin!!
Best luck!

Yes, it helps your skin become more pliable so it stretches w/o the marks. It also depends on your genetic make up tho. If your mother has a lot of stretch marks, than you'll likely have them. My mom was a bathing suit model after 3 kids and was 4th place in the Miss Michigan contest... I have 6 tiny little stretch marks that only I can see after 3 kids. I used the cocoa butter cream like crazy from the day I found out I was pregnant.

Well, hate to break it to ya, but coco butter doesn't prevent stretch marks. All these different creams are only used to moisten your skin so it doesn't become rough and itchy. Continue to use coco butter because if you don't and you start itching...you'll definitely see the marks you made after pregnancy. Hope that helps!!!

No. Not by itself. Use aloe Vera which heals the deep tissue layers and (wheat germ oil is cheaper than refined vitamin E) Vitamin E oil mixture or separate applications. Avoid Vaseline or petroleum based clear greasy ointments because this will break down tissue cells. Apply natural creams. Vitamin C creams maybe available but are costly. Eat whole fruit and vegetables. Take Multi-Vitamins and Minerals which your cells and the baby’s cells need, if you are pregnant. Get plenty of sleep. Don't smoke or consume alcohol beverages. Coco Butter does not contain cholesterol.

It's not going to prevent stretch marks, stretch marks are in fact genetic. You may or may not get them, may get a lot, may only get a few. I'm a very small girl also, and I didn't get any stretch marks with my pregnancy, and i never used the cocoa butter cream.

nope sorry stretch marks are genetic no amount of cream will help I used it every day two or three times aday and got them anyway. Ask your mom if she got any with you if not then you have a good chance of not getting any either but the cocoa butter helps with the itching. Good Luck hope you don't get stretch marks.

I used it and only got two tiny stretch marks that are barely there. But, stretch marks are hereditary and they do not run in my family. Ask your mom, sisters, aunts etc. if they had them.....that will tell you more. I just liked using the cocoa butter because it got rid of that dryness that occurs when your belly stretches WAY out......good luck.

My doc told me that stretch marks are genetic. If your mom has them then the chances of you getting them are pretty darn high! I used coco butter anyway because it helped with the horrible itching! good luck!

Well some people say that works for them, but I tell you I put it on religiously and I still got them. I talked to the doc. and he told me they are genetic. Coco butter can help them fade and some lotions can cause your tummy to tighten some more but if you are ment to have them you will. I hope it works out for you and you dont get any!
