I don't know what to think. My last period was Aug 2nd, and I'm writing this on Sept. 24th. I normally ovulate on day 21, and I thought I did o b/c of cervical mucus. But I didn't get my period. My nipples have been very sore, and I've had a lot of cm recently. I have tested numerous times, and they are all negative. I know that most women would have gotten a positive by now, but is it possible for my urine to give a false negative? Do you think a doc's office would give me a blood test without a positive HPT?

Thank you so much for all of your encouraging answers. Since I am extremely late, I will call the doc's office in the morning for an appointment. I probably won't be able to get in for another month b/c the ob/gyn offices are always booked around here :(

You can be pregnant and have a false test. I would wait another week or so and take one again. Then I would call the doctor and explain what happened. I am sure they will help you.

When I thought I was pregnant with my 5th child I took several home tests and they came back negative. So i though I was not preg. Then I still did not get my period. So went to my doc and took a blood test...that came back negative. So for sure I thought I was not pregnant. Then the following month still no period. Saw my Gynecologist..and basically said that I was dying cause I did not get my period. I had explained the whole ordeal i had gone through the previous month so I knew for a fact I was not pregnant. She said ok..Let me give you another pregnancy test..I said ok..but I know i am not pregnant. Well to my surprise I was!!! She said that before it was just too early to tell. So it is possible to be pregnant. Go see a doctor...and keep us posted.

i have a 4 month old now, but becuase i had an imbalance of hormones so all 3 of the test i took were neggative. i went to the doctor and had an urine test done, and wala.. i was 6 weeks preg. my recomendation is go to the dr, tell them whats going on and they will further test you. good luck

I know my mother told me I wouldn't show up on a preg test until she was three months pregnant with me. So I do believe it is possible if you get a blood test that it might show that you are.

Yes call youre docter and get the blood test. You have every right to have the best quality care and answers for yourself and future babbies. Tons of baby dust coming your way!

GOT A BLOOD TEST, HPT TEST NEVER WORKED FOR MYSELF.FOUND OU AT ALMOST 3 MONTHS WITH BLOOD TEST.

yes, my tests didn't come up positive until I was almost 3 monthes along, they never do, but I am told it's really rare.

I don't see why your Dr would refuse... I would make an appointment and ask... Good Luck
