Do you have a partner? Have you discussed it with them? Maybe he will suggest something. Better than getting a shedload of hideous uninspiring names offa here. Roll a few names around with the surname and see what you get.
Anyway, you're months away yet! Why the hurry???

The 'thing' nowadays is to mix the mother and fathers names together to make a name, or have a name backwards.
For example my name is Hazel, backwards is Lezah, so we went for Lezlie (spelt different to the traditional way-but we like it) then we mixed our names together, my name Hazel and my partner is Ross, so we came up with Rosselle. Once again - something different.
We haven't got kids yet, but we always talk about the names for when we do.
For a boy we are looking at Raymond Allan, my dads and my partners dads names.
I like to keep it in the family when it comes to names, but Jack is a popular boys name at the moment.
Good Luck for your future together, hope all goes well withn the birth.

DON'T name her "April". What do you like to do? What is your family heritage? You can then narrow it down. My 1st daughter was named after a song I heard years ago and so was her best friend. My other daughter's name is part of a popular singer's name. You need to find a name that she can call your own and that you can tell her how creative you were in finding it or it's meaning to you.

You see this question on here alot as it is so hard to choose a name for your baby!!
I think with girls you can be adventurous, i tend to like the really old fashioned names for girls.....Annie, Abigail, Emily, Alice, Maggie.....etc
For boys i think you should be a bit more conservative...names like James, Michael, John - these names can be shortened to be cute like Jay Jay, Mikey, Johnny but then are good names for a man....
I hate lads with stupid names that sound more like girls names....Levi, Ellis, Franklin, Jordon all a bit girly i think......
I called my little one Emily.

My daughter is called Megan, I love that name! I like Paige for a girl too.
For boys I like Liam, Ben, Sam, Jamie
Only you can decide though honey!
Look on the Internet or in names books, it may help!
Good Luck! xxx

Think of the child...nothing wacky or unusual. Think of all combinations the name will have and the initials. You dont want the child to be teased at school. I would go with the basic old fashioned names. Adam, Steven, Benjamin. Rachel, Emily, Rebecca.
Choosing a name that sounds clever and unusual could haunt your child for the rest of his life.

I have 3 kids youngest being 6 weeks I like Jack, Harry, Charlie for a boy....
Emma, Naimhe ( pronounced neeve) Katey for a girl..
once you have your baby you will know when you look at them if a name suits them,I had names picked for all 3 of mine and changed them once they were born to names that just seemed to suit.
Good luck this is a wonderful time enjoy it :-) :-)
