You most likely have polycystic ovarian syndrome. I also have it and I ovulate but very irregular usually once every 6-15 months. We are trying to get pregnant and are currently trying clomid. When you took the clomid did you take your basal body temperature to see for sure if you ovulated or not? That is the only 100% way to know if you ovulated on the clomid because clomid can make you ovulate at different times so therefore the bloodtest they might have done to check for ovulation may have been done too early. I went a year without ovulating and started clomid. The first cycle on clomid I ovulated on my 16th cycle day and the second cycle I ovulated on my 19th day so the usual testing for ovulation (on the 21st day) would have been too early. It should be done at 7 days past ovulation no matter what cycle day you are on. I recommend taking your BBT to know for sure if you are ovulating or not and maybe you should see a new doctor if you aren't satisfied. It took my husband and I 4 tries to find a good doctor. By the time we finish all the fertility tests and all it will have only taken a little over 3 weeks which takes most doctors months to do. Find a good doctor and try again. Don't give up. Find out why you aren't ovulating. Be consistent until you get answers. Don't wait until you have been trying for 4 years like my husband and I did. Keep going to different doctors until you get answers. The main tests you need to have done is complete bloodwork including fasting blood sugar and rubella, an HSG, semen analysis (for your husband of course), a pap smear and an ultrasound. I have listed some websites for you about BBT charting, PCOS, and causes of anovulation. Good luck!

Causes For Not Ovulating

Something similar happened to me...

I was on the pill and so having an 'artificial' period every month for the 6 years that i was on it. I came off it and didnt have a period for 7 months. The doc said nothing was wrong and not to worry until 6 months or more. I went for some tests and they said i have polycystic ovaries which can stop you ovulating or make it very irregular. As scary as it sounds it is fairly common. I found out more by doing a google search.

They can test for it by doing a simple internal at the clinic/hospital. It might be worth checking/ruling it out?? Good luck with everything. :)

What's next is that you need to have a re evaluation and your ob needs to find something that "does" work! I totally understand how you feel...My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years and have also had thee the tests done, we are starting Clomid next cycle. If this doesn't work for us...there is already another plan in place as to what to do next. I would imagine your ob should have the same...if you aren't getting anywhere with them, then I would switch doctors. Something just doesn't sound right. Please feel Free to email me or im me if you would like to chat.

Well I would get on bc for a month then back off to see if that would help, if not then try taking soy and chastenberry. I had a friend who tried that and it worked for her.

Have you had a test done to see if your fallopian tubes were blocked? There is a product called preseed that helps the sperm get up to the egg faster. It's an all natural product.

if you don't have regular periods you won't ovulate. see if you can get your periods regular and that should help... I'm taking ovulex for that maybe that might help... and if you are regular go to a specialist for that type of things! good luck!!!
