If you have an irregular period and only get your period once every couple of months or every 3 months?

Yes you can still get pregnant. Even though you may not get your period for a month or two, you can still ovulate. Having an irregular period just makes it hard to determine when you are ovulating. You can buy an ovulation detector kit or consult a doctor.

Definitely. I am the same way and always thought that I would have difficulty getting pregnant so I wasn't as careful as I should have been. My husband and I thought one time "oh well it probably won't be a problem" and continued our actions. And you know, six weeks later I was having flu-like symptoms and tossing cookies. Surprise! I was pregnant!

You probably can with some effort, see a doctor about it. I have a friend who has the same problem and her doctor said in her case yes but it could be difficult. She was able to be more regular while on the pill.

Yes, as long as you are having periods than you are still ovulating (producing eggs).

Yes.. There is still a chance. See your doctor for a more complete picture of your fertility.
