Pregnancy & Parenting - 26 September 2006

My wife and I are expecting a baby boy in 2 weeks and currenty have 4yr old and 2 yr old daughters. They will not go to bed without mom in their with them and when they wake up they cry and come to our room. We have tried letting them just cry it out but they always end up puking. I work alot of odd hours and on call half of the month but when I try to get them to go to sleep with me they don't want me in the bed. We are at our wits end and are wondering what will happen when the new baby gets here. Also we have started to blame on another for this dilema. Any advice would truely be appreciated.

MY 2 year old goes to bed at about 8:30 pm and she will not sleep past 2:30 am, when she gets up at that time, she thinks its time to play, this has been happening for a week now, is there anything that could be causing this? I have not changed anything about her routine when we get home, she eats dinner at the sametime every night, and gets her bath at the same time every night, but she still refuses to sleep past 2:30 am.

I am writting in response to the question I asked yesterday. I joined this web site for opinions and a bit of moral support. When I asked about my possible pregnancy after my husbands vasectomy and I said I had not cheated, someone wrote in well maybe you cheated. It is really sad that there are people out there without anything mature to say. Grow up and maybe join some cheesy chat line instead of wasting our time with your stupid comments. One day when you have a real question or concern I hope that someone pisses you off by making a joke of it! Thanks to everyone else who actually gave me some meaningful advice.

My son is attached to my mom like you wouldnt beleive! When i had him i lived with my mom and it was her first grandchild and she spoiled him. I moved out when he was 3 months old and he stayed the night with her every saturday night, then once he was like 2 years old he started being with her everyday from like 3 p.m. until she went to work at 8:00 p.m. which was fine with me because he had a 8 month old sister it was a nice break every day ( my mom lives across the street from me)! When he was 4 I went to Cinncinatti to visit a friend and my mom didnt want me to take him with me so i took my daughter and let my son stay with my mom I was gone for 3 weeks, When i came back my son didnt want to come home, So for almost a year he has been at my moms, she dosent have custidy of him or anything...he just would rather be there then with me...I see him everyday and he spends the night with me a couple times a week but he cries for my mom! He is 5 and i want my son back, what can i do!

and I call my doc to see if that was ok to b throwing up bec I have been seance I started taking them and that was about a week ago . and she said that I could be Pregnant already. what do u all think I kinda dont think I am bec we have been trying for about 7 to 8 months . so what do u think could i be pregnant. already that quick after trying all those months and nothing .

I feel so sick, but no throwing up, should I just make myself throw up to relieve sickness? I am 7 weeks pregnant, and cant even get out because I am so sick and overwhelmed, I might vomit in public at the wrong place. (or more yet, not get to a bathroom on time. )

My friend recently had a threat form another mom to have the state called on her because her 11mth old baby boy,Connor,is only 17lbs. He is a small baby. He doesnt eat much but beleive me..he has everything he could need. Hes lucky to be born to a family with money. Shes always worried that people are talking and saying bad stuff and that the state really WILL come!!! what do I tell her!!??

Me and my partner have been together for nearly 5yrs and have just bought a house. We are both in stable jobs and we both are starting to feel broody. I had my first sonography done..and it was such a thrilling and exciting experience..I wished to share it with some ...unfortunately I can't...My baby is in Breeh presentation(14.5+-10 weeks) will it change position or will I have a breech labour for sure...also I am unsure of the way by which one decides which week is it ...my 1st day of LMP was 21st june and EDD 28th March which means that the date of conception was 5th of July but sonograpgy reavels the baby to be one week bigger so the date of conception should be 28th of June..can anybody tell me for sure which week I am in..?

After my last pms on Aug. 31 -2006 i've been having intimacy on my fertile days( i am regular) meaning that me and my husband want to start a family and im afraid to take the HPT this saturday because that's when i start pms again- i have had some symptoms but they come and go --Could i be or not?? Hi all i'm currently the mother of what many would consider a large family ( 4 kids) and recently found out that i'm preggers again. Ive been sooo perplexed b/c this new baby was not planned and will completely throw our home life out of sync. This being said, you should note that both my husband and I have nice jobs, are not on any assistance, and i currently am in a doctorate program. In addition, my oldest 2 are in private christian school, and the youngest 2 are watched by the grandparents, who have told us no more childern will be watched. (the youngest is only 9 months). Just wanted to gauge public opinion and see how many felt I should go forward with this pregnancy or keep my family at status quo.

I am only a month in a half and when they took my blood they said the hgc i think hormone was tripling and told me to set up an appointment at the hospital for an ultra sound is this bad? do i need to worry what does this mean?I am 24 years old and healthy i just am a stressed at the moment.

Okay...this Friday I will be starting my 13th week of pregnancy, i've missed 3 periods so far, i've been to the doctor and all of that. My periods always come around the 23rd of every month, this month around that time i started having some bleeding, it was a little clumpy, but i wasn't in any pain at all...i just went to the bathroom and seen i was bleeding. But it stopped after that, well i had a little spotting the next day but that was it. I havne't been in any pain at all, no cramping or anything. And i'm not bleeding or anything now. It didn't even last a whole day. What could that be? My next appointment is in about a week or 2. Should i be really concerned or is that normal? I've heard that you hurt when you miscarry and i haven't been hurting at all, but what's the bleeding from?

My due date is January 25...But Im trying to decide on my babyshower date...I was thinking towards December 2 or 3 because at the end of December its christmas and I dont want to ruin ppls financial plans you know what I mean?? and the ending of november its thanksgiving so Im thinking December 2 would be the best date...o0o and my 19th B-day is on December 4th so itll be kinda kool...lol any advice on better dates?

about half a year ago i got pregnant and had an abortion (i was only 17 at the time) but it the worst thing i did in my life and no way on earth would i get an abortion again, it was awful, but now im pregnant again, (i am still with the same man i was with before) but i just couldnt go through with it again... what can i do, i no i should of been more careful and from now on believe me i will but wat shall i do?

I am pregnant for the second time, first time had a miscarriage. I am going to be 35 in 2 weeks, and some of my sister is telling me I should get my tubes tied because of my age. Which I have thought about. I am not sure if we will want more kids or not, my husband said he doesn't think I should do it. I just worry about finacial reasons. Any advice would be appreciated. Maybe I am just over hormonal, lol.
