I am 21 weeks pregnant and all of a sudden started spotting today! It started out brown, but is now pinkish... I was just at the doctor's last week, and everything looked good.. strong heartbeat, cervix looked ok... I called my doctor in a panic, but he told me not to worry just yet.. I did have intercourse on Sunday, which he says may be the cause.. anyone have experience with this? it seems like every week, I have another new scary symptom that ends up being nothing. I can't help but be freaked out....

My son has a cough, that real dry cough that sounds like a goose honking. I just wandered what would help suppress in and help him sleep. thanks!

First is this really true or an just urban myth? Also does it only apply to boys or to boys and girls equally? I notice in my own self that at times I get angry and speak out of turn. Yet my special boy is mostly very calm. I notice his body and admit to sexual feelings towards him. I also get other feelings that are not exactly sexual but different; a feeling of weakness, heat, etc. Since yahoo answers is anonymous (ie you cant tell my parents about what I say lol) I admit to something else. He exercises a lot and I like to give him a massage. Sometimes I'm tempted to ask him to remove all his cloths to give him a more thorough massage. Ohh I love his strong male body.

ok . . by the dates that my doctor gave me when I first found out I was pregnant, I should be 18 weeks and 4 days . . . I went for my first ultrasound last week, and the tech said that according to my measurements, I was more like 19 or 20 weeks . . . then yesterday, I went to the doctor and I was measured at 25 weeks . . . so exactly how far along am I? . . or is it all just a big estimate and there's really no way to tell? . . how does all of this affect my due date?? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

I know what braxton hicks are-I have 1 child. But last night I was having contractions every 3-5 minutes, and my vaginal area was cramping really bad. I fell asleep and woke up this morning and nothing happened. I am still cramping in the vaginal area-it really hurts. I am 34 weeks 5 days. I would like to know what to do. I am waiting for my water to break before I go to the hospital. There is alot of pressure in the vaginal area. I feel stupid for going to the hospital with no or little contractions, but with alot of pressure.?? Any suggestions?? Thanks.

My six-month-old won't eat anything unless it's got honey on it. He won't even eat peanut butter without honey, and it's getting expensive. I can't find any big economy jars at Sam's or anything. Is there like some cheap Mexican honey I can buy?

My daughter is approaching her 2 months... and you know.. she is going to need shots. Well I was and still am covered by my fathers insurance (AETNA) and it covered my whole preg. and it covered her for 1 month, well it got her 2 her 4 day check up and 2 week, so now im am waiting on her either CHIPS or MEDICAID approval in the mail.
I don't like clinics and I never trust them because they don't know the medical history of some of their patients, anyways shes totall healthy but should I just go ahead and pay the total office visit price which is like $150 plus $14 a shot so she can see the pediatrician or just take her to the local health services place and have them do it. It's the same shot but would it be better so she could have her pediatrician ? instead of some stranger

my daughter is three and it's always a battle to get her to take a nap, but once I get her to sleep she'll sleep for two hours. I know my ten month old has to get a nap every day or she's grumpy, should it be the same for a three year old?

My baby is 5 weeks old, and exclusively breastfed. She's very content and alert during the day, but after her first middle of the night feeding (usually 1:00-2:00am) she grunts really loudly for the rest of the night, regardless of whether she's hungry or needs to be changed. My husband and I can't sleep! Any suggestions?

My 2YO hit her top teeth on steps while playing and one of the front teeth slowly bled around the gums for a whole day. I think it may be loose. The gums in that area look swollen and a bit darker than the surrounding gums. I'd hate for her to loose a tooth at 2! What should I expect? Will it heal?

If you are pro-life do you believe in the death penalty?

If you are pro-life what are your thoughts on teaching sex-ed in school?

If you are pro-life have you had children of your own?

If you are pro-life and have had children of your own, why are you selfish? You support and preach adoption so we have foster homes FILLED with unwanted children. Why don't you want (or have) the non-aborted babies?

Why did you have a child of your own if you knew that there were so many children up for adoption, don't you think you could have done another child good by adopting them?

If you are pro-life, would you adopt a child older the two years old? Why or why not?

Both of my girls have been/are. My first daughter used to sneek into the bathroom to tear up rolls of toilet paper. I found her one time under a mound of torn up toilet paper. Now my second daughter who is ten months loves to tear up toilet paper too. She doesn't eat it just loves to rip it up into tiny pieces to spread from one end of the house to the other. Is this common or are my children strange? ^.~ Finding them covered in tiny pieces of toilet paper does make for cute pictures.

I went to the dr's last month and he ordered several test, including bloodwork on day 3 of my period. I went to him b/c I was spotting for several days before my period actually starts. Well, I am on cycle day 41 (yes, I know thats long. Mine usually average 34 days) and I began to spot yesterday.

So should I go for bloodwork tomorrow or wait until a full blown period comes (I am nervous it may not b/c of how late in my cycle it is).

I have a call into the doctor, but I wanted to hear some thoughts from caring woman

My granddaughter has been on an apnea monitor since 4 months of age. Her most recent sleep study indicates Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea. In otherwords, they say her tonsils are too big and need to be removed.

I am curious if other children who have had this surgery had any difficulties with the surgery and/or recovery because of their age?
