Ok i just asked a question but i dont think i explained myself well enough. I know im gonna have my baby no question about it and my parents already know, and they support me. What i was trying to ask is if i should let him be a part of my babys life or not? i have a good job and i know i could make it by myself but is it fair if i do it by myself, it is his baby too i didnt make this baby by myself and thats why i dont think is fair for me to take all the responsability, but at the same time i dont think he deserves us. im sooo confused so what should i do????

I am on Prometrium for low progesterone. I am approximately 8.5 weeks pregnant, my question is will this medicine make me have a missed miscarriage? Will it hold an unviable pregnancy in my body? I revcently had a miscarriage and I don't want to get my hopes up again...

Hey all, I have yet another question. I am a 21 year old pregnant, college student who has started my student teaching as a requirement for graduation and to become a certified teacher. This semester I began student teaching High School . I don't have a belly yet but am pretty sure that around November I will. The issue I am having is that I look young, I am young. I've even been mistaken for a student in the same school I am student teaching in. Im just worried that my being pregnant and showing will somehow send a bad message to the teenagers in the school. I am not at all ashamed, just a bit confused. I am trying to get my school work done with, especially now.Maybe i should wait to student teach high school after the baby comes?

I have been eating spicy all my life, i can't stand not having a little spice in my life. Now that i am pregnant with my first, i wanted to know if its ok to eat spicy. I am 4 and half months pregnant, i will have to stop doing so if its not good for me.

i wasnt expecting to be pregnant ive been with my bf, now ex for more that a year so when i found out i freak out im not that young n i still live with my parents so i was scared to tell my mom my bf always told me he wanted a baby but now that im pregnant he started to act different like he didnt want it so i felt bad cuz he wasnt there 4 me instead of making me feel better he was making me feel like s**t so we got in an arguement n i broke up with him for good (during our relationship we were alwas breaking up and getting back 2gether but we broke up 4 months ago cuz he did somethingreal bad n i got back with him without nobody knowing) so now he tells me he wants to be with me but i know if i stay with him my life would be like hell. so i dont know if i should let him be involved during my pregnancy n accept money from him cuz im hurt, i have a good job but i dont think is fair for me to take all the responsability but at the same i dont want him to be involved. wat u think?

My son just turned one and I have a hard time thinking of things to do with him. I tried to read stories with him but he is more interested in just ripping the books.. so that is out. He plays with toys, but not if I try to play with them with him. (If that makes any sense) I really can't think of anything else that we can do during the day to keep him and myself busy. Any suggestions?

I'm about half way through my first semester. I live in Alabama by the way; I know there are probably different programs for different states and so on. My son is one and i think he is just about ready for daycare. I think it would do him good to be able to play with other kids and "socialize" if you know what i mean. We just can't afford $100 a week or whatever it is running now a days. Thanks for your help.

I was wondering if there is any way of "predicting" that you are having twins before the dr tells you? I am pregnant (only about 4-5 weeks) and before I missed my period my breasts were very tender, I am extremly fatigued and sometimes nauseous. I did not have any of these things so early with my last pregnancy. Twins run on both the maternal and paternal sides so I was wondering what the chances of this are, etc.

I have always had a normal cycle-28 days,practically down to the minute. 6 months after my son was born, my cycle lengthend to 35 days, give or take. Is that normal? Now that we are thinking about a second child, I want to know if this is going to be a problem.

I had super strict parents, couldn't talk on the phone to boys until 16, couldn't date till I was 16. I was scared of my parents of letting them down so I was a really good kid "UNTIL" I met my husband at 17 and I hurried up a married just to get out of the house. 14 years latere still happily married but I will not be that strict on my children, it ultimatly drove me from home at an early age.

My mother has 4 children ages: 27, 24 (me), 13 and 9.

My mother is 46 years old and has no grandchildren.

I have been married for two years (together for 5) and my husband and I are trying for our first baby.

I mentioned to my mother recently that we wanted to have a baby soon.

She said I should wait until I am 30 until I have my first child.

She said if I waited then my little brothers would be 19 and 15 and she could focus more on being a grandma.

How selfish is her excuse?!

Why should I wait to have children when she decided to have more kids in her mid-late 30’s?

She can still be a grandma and be a mother to teen boys!

My step-dad (raised me) said he would be happy to be a grandpa, and he is only 43!

What do you think about my mother’s excuse for not wanting grandchildren now?

P.S.
We have college educations, great careers, a home that is nearly paid off, and plenty of money. We are happily married and no parents have helped us with it all.

My wife and I are leaving for our vacation on the 6th of October and we're leaving our son at home. My wife works out of the house and so she's around to cook all the meals every day so we're not used to having to buy frozen meals. We're only going to be gone for 2 weeks so we'll need about 15 different meals that are easy enough for our 5 year old son to make in the microwave. Is there anyone with kids who can give us a good list of foods like these that they've tried?
