I had a cesarean 8 months ago, and my tailbone hurts so much. It hurts to sit, and to get up from a sitting position. I hadn't gone through labor at all.

My guess would be that there was some major pressure on your tailbone prior to the C/S. I know of a woman who has had tailbone pain, requiring medication, for up to a year after a vaginal delivery (with each of her children).

If I were you, I would call my doctor, and see if they would either like to see you or have comforting words of advice.

Best of Luck!

Mine hurt, but I was in labor for 18 hours... Maybe there is a connection (literally) between your uterine ligaments and their link to your innards/tailbone?

The soreness you describe appears like damage to the coccyx. the wear and tear would have surpassed off in the course of the time you've been wearing a toddler, besides as for the period of any contractions think ofyou've got experienced. research the area on "coccyxdynia" (soreness of the coccyx).
