i think now would be a really good time, they would be close and play together and you will still be in the diaper stage with the oldest when you have the little one. Its rough don't think any different, but as they get older together they play more together.
mine 2nd child was 19 months when i had my daughter and I am glad now they were so close, he is now 4 and she will be turning 2 and it is really fun to watch them grow and learn as they play with each other. BEST OF LUCK

It is always what works for you. My children are 3 year 11months apart and it has been perfect. When I had my second child my son was older enough to understand that this is an addition to our family not a replace for him. After 6 month of the entire family bonding together my son began school giving me the one on one time with my daughter. Then in the evening I had one on one time with my son. My children are still very close at 13 and 9.

I think having kids close in age is great, if that's what you want. My son is 16 months, and I am 6 months pregnant now. A friend of my mom's had a baby in May of one year, then the second in May the next year, so she got pregnant 3 months after having her first!

DAMN! I waited 4 years to have another baby. I didn't want 2 in diapers and I wanted a bit of a break from changing diapers before having a 2nd.

I have 3 kids and they are all 18 months apart. I think that it that is a good gap between kids . They are eachothers best friends and I think its easier having them all close its not like starting over completely with to many years difference. If all is well health wise and you really want another baby i say go for it. Good luck to you!!!!!!!!

It all depends on whether or not your body is physically ready for another child. You also need to think if you are emotionally ready for another one. I have 2 boys who are 15 months apart and they were and still are a handful.

my sister and I are 4 years apart, maybe if we we're closer together in age we would've gotton along better, but we had little to relate to when we were young. Most of my friends who are having kids are waiting at least 2-3 years in between.

Depending on the type of delivery. With a c-section I know they tell you to wait at least 1yr to make sure everything has had time to heal.

Ideally you should wait couple yrs so that your body can go back to your pre-pregnancy weight. it's always best to be healthy and not over weight when you are pregnant.
