I have read a lot of things on not allowing children under 2 to watch television. But is it ok if you watch it with them? If it is age appropriate? I mean I'm obviously not letting my son watch bad shows, but his dad likes to let him watch sports with him. I am so confused over this because I don't want my son to have ADD or something when he starts school. I mean we play baby games all day with him, isn't occasional TV alright? By the way he is only 6 months old. He really likes Baby Einstein so I leave it on when he plays, sometimes he watches sometimes not. What does everyone else think about this?

I'm only 18 weeks pregnant right now, but I've been told in the past (by previous gynecologists) that I have very narrow pelvis bones and a narrow birth canal and that a vaginal labor would probably be very difficult and painful for me. I also have always experienced some pain during sex because of this. My uterus is also tilted. Well anyway, my OB now, says that he feels I should be able to deliver vaginally just fine. I'm worried though. has anyone else every been told they are 'very narrow' by a doc and yet still delivered vaginally??

I am a stay at home mom and my husband works. My husband thinks I should take sole responsibility for taking care of my son. I do and love it, but I feel he is missing out on son and dad time. I feed, change, bath, play, read and put him to bed. He does nothing. Never gets up at night, never put him to bed, never spends any time with him. He says he tired with he gets home. Any suggestions.

I went to the dr's last month and he ordered several test, including bloodwork on day 3. I went to him b/c I was spotting for several days before my period actually starts. Well, I am on cycle day 41 (yes, I know thats long. Mine usually average 34 days) and I began to spot yesterday. So should I go for bloodwork tomorrow or wait until a full blown period comes (I am nervous it may not b/c of how late in my cycle it is).

I feel kinda dumb calling the doctor to ask. I don't want to be known as this pestering patient that calls for dumb reasons
