Ok first of all, I have been doing a lot pf research myself on trying to concieve... and every single person says try to relax, if you worry it will make it more difficult, I hated that, how can you not worry and be anxious about something you are so excited about, and wanting a baby so badly to share with the person you most love in this world... I understand how your feeling anyways, I did some research and a ob/gyn med. article said that is a big myth, everyone worries a little bit, but the sperm will still find their way, bc thats what they are supposed to do... this was our 3rd month trying and we won't know until Oct. if we are, my best friend tried this past Aug. and got pregnant first try, they used an ovulation kit, and had sex 2-3 times a day 3 days b4 ovulation and on ovulation day.... the previous times we had sex we only did once a day and every other day b/c we thought it would help with sperm count... well this time we tried it twice a day a couple days before and the day of ovulation... I am sure you have already figured out your ovulation days, but if you havent go onto fertilityfriend.com and you get a free calendar to track your most fertile days, the other thing you can do is after you have sex if possible stay in bed, you dont have to do the whole hips elevated thing, but they say its important to keep the sperm inside you, and sometimes if you immediately get out of bed that it can drip out... hopefully this helps a little, but try an ovulation kit, that might be the key for you... but anyways dont pay attention to people who say relax and don't worry, its your body and some feelings you just can't help, this is the most amazing thing that can ever happen... if you can't get pregnant within a year thats when they say you should check in with some fertility specialists... mother nature will take its course, try some of the above to help speed up the process and I wish you the best of luck! research what you can.... hope this helps to know someone is feeling the same as you are! take care sweety!!!

First of all, relax and don't stress too much. Too much stress or worrying can make it more difficult to conceive so just try to relax and let nature take it's course. Second find out when your ovulating. For most women it's around day 14 of their cycle and your egg will live 24-48 hours. Sperm can live up to 5 days, most around 3 days. So there are a few optimal days per month for intercourse. Some women can get pregnant the first time, but for most women it will take at least a few months of trying. If everything is ok you should get pregnant within 6 months if you are having intercourse on a regular basis meaning you are having it during the 5 optimal days per month. There is nothing more you can do except relax and estimate when you are ovulating.

Lizel, to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Talk to a reproductive endocrinologist. He will be in a better position to advice you on what to do to help with your fertility. I really donot think you have problem now, you have been trying for only three months. Try to relax and donot worry, and have alot of sex.
