First is this really true or an just urban myth? Also does it only apply to boys or to boys and girls equally? I notice in my own self that at times I get angry and speak out of turn. Yet my special boy is mostly very calm. I notice his body and admit to sexual feelings towards him. I also get other feelings that are not exactly sexual but different; a feeling of weakness, heat, etc. Since yahoo answers is anonymous (ie you cant tell my parents about what I say lol) I admit to something else. He exercises a lot and I like to give him a massage. Sometimes I'm tempted to ask him to remove all his cloths to give him a more thorough massage. Ohh I love his strong male body.

Someone asked If I know about hormones because he learned about them in the 5th grade. I did too. Its just that I learned that your body goes through purberty and you change physically. That part I know. I guess I kind of know about the other part too. Its just that its so surprising how I feel. It feels kind of good and bad at the same time.

They are different in boys and girls, and he probably has similar problems like the ones you feel. Chances are he masturbates too, of course depending on his age, but if he is a teenager he probably will.
Maybe you could talk to him about these hormonal rushes you feel, but please don't rush into sex, Even though it might be evry tempting (I know it is) please don't risk not only the dangers of pregnancy, but also the danger of your parents finding out, they might never get over it! Talk, go out, kiss or whatever and just enjoy yourself, it's a great time of life!

That's hormones. It isn't a myth, we all have hormones and they are different in men than in women. You may notice you are more tempermental before your period, that's hormones. And someday when you decide to have a baby (hopefully not anytime soon) your hormones will go all crazy. Hormones are really confusing to adolescents. You may feel the urge to be more intimate with your boyfriend because you find him so attractive, but educate yourself first about STDs and pregnancy. Be careful, always use condoms and be prepared to feel very attached to him if you become intimate with him. He might not get as attached to you and that could lead to emotional problems (once again, hormones are a big factor.) You just have to deal with these "raging" hormones because it's part of your body maturing.

It is true for both males and females. It effects people differently, your best female friends may not react the same as you and boys will react differently as well.
Unless you are over 16, do not go any further with the massage thing. If things got heated he could be charged with a felony. Enjoy the fact that you have a boyfriend who is strong and healthy but wait til you are both adults before taking it to the next level :)

this is not a myth, hormones is a pain. for example if you are on your period every little thing can get on your nerves but other days you can deal with it. That is your hormones at work, but it is important not to let your hormones get the best of you.

a "hormone" is a chemical in the brain.
hormones cause all types of things. Everything from "adrenaline rush", fear, energy, and um... growth...
hormones cause everything. without them, humans would have no feeling and the world would be a boring place.
