kids have headaches.Sometimes real young before they can tell you so they cry and you don't know why.

But sometimes kids can have a lot of headaches anyone can and they can be migraines. SOMETIMES not always its a sign that something is really wrong.

My brother had mi-grains before he had back surgery pinched nerve. I have migraine from the time I was small. Perfumes really make them start up, and burning leaves. etc.

My son has mi-grains, he also has Multiple sclerosis though. ( that's one sign of 1st knowing)

Keep up with how often, and what they eat, do etc.
To try to eliminate headaches. Tell your child's Dr about it. My son and I takes Motrin and Tylenol at the same time to offset a mi-grain.

My daughter started getting headaches at about 2 years old. They were so bad she would throw up. It turned out that is was her vision causing them. She went into bi-focals at 2 1/2 and never got a headache again.

I think it depends on the age. I have a seven year old and she has had a headache. But only like one or two. If your worried take your kid to a doctor. It could be more serious.

Headaches can be caused in children by anything that triggers adult headaches. Food, weight of hair for girls with long hair, allergies, tension, stress, you name it. If children never got headaches from normal causes, they wouldn't need to make children doses of Tylenol and such.

Now, if a normally head-ache free child suddenly is starting to get debilitating headaches with no obvious cause, such as allergies, poor eyesight, stress, etc, then it's time to worry.

Yes they get them, how much sugar are they getting in their diet? My little one was getting them and I took him to a neurologist, had test ran and nothing was found, she then ask him about sugar intake and he told he daddy always brought home candy for him, she told him to ease off the candy and his headaches will start to go away. She was right, he now has no headaches. Have the child checked out, have a MRI or CT done, even if its to just to ease your own mind, this may give you some answers. Good luck!!!

I suppose it is true that a child SHOULDN'T have headaches. It should not be confused with a child DOESN'T get headaches. It would be caused to signify that something else was wrong, such as bad eye site.

Anyone can get a headache. My husband started experiencing migranes when he was just in early school age....5 or 6, and has had them everyday since. They ran every imaginable test on him and he is just prone to them. He is so used to the pain now, he only takes med when it is intollerable.

They get sinus headaches, neck pain tension headaches, the works. My one friend's daughter had constant headaches, turned out her beautiful waist length hair was the problem! Too much weight on her neck causing constant tension, who'da thunk it? Cut her hair, no more headaches.

They are just little versions of us... same body, same problems.
