I am writting in response to the question I asked yesterday. I joined this web site for opinions and a bit of moral support. When I asked about my possible pregnancy after my husbands vasectomy and I said I had not cheated, someone wrote in well maybe you cheated. It is really sad that there are people out there without anything mature to say. Grow up and maybe join some cheesy chat line instead of wasting our time with your stupid comments. One day when you have a real question or concern I hope that someone pisses you off by making a joke of it! Thanks to everyone else who actually gave me some meaningful advice.

yeah there are some little kids in here but about your first question i was watching montel williams one time. a guy brought his wife there because he said she had cheated on him and she was very stuck on the fact that she hadnt well a baby was made and she had it and was convinced it was her husbands of course the husband said there is no way possible because he had had a vasectomy. well they did DNA and sure enough it was the husbands baby. they had a specialist on that said there is still a small chance that he could get a woman pregnant so if u r sure u didnt cheat then you should take your husband to the doctor so they can explain that he can still make a baby with the surgery just as a woman that has had her tubes tied can concieve.

Vasectomies take some time to take effect and then you have to test sperm count at 1 month and agian at 6 months and even then things can happen. Why do men think that because they are men it won't grow back how many times have w all heard stories about pregnancy after a tubal. I wish you the best with your pregnancy I know it was a huge surprise but sometimes the best things in life usually are. Try to ingnore people I know they can be hurtful and quickly build false opions about people they don't know.
Try to aviod the negitative stuff and enjoy those who offer real advice. Loke minded people have to support one another and let other wallo in there own bliss of ignorance.
Sometimes this is the only interaction for people and they feel important here. Take care.

If your'e going to ask questions on hear, you have to take the good with the bad. The best you can do is hope to get SOME good answers, but there will always be the idiots who have to be cool and mouth off. Don't take them seriously.

I saw a Maury show with just that situation, where the hubby had a vasectomy and the wife got pregnant. They did the lie-detector and paternity-test and everything, and it turned out he was indeed the father.

Vasectomy is not perfect, with a 1 in 1000 chance of failure. Also, how long ago did he get it? Did he have 3 negative semen samples?

I completely agree with you there is a question on her if jesus isnt a pervert then why did come into the world through a vagina what is that about. If people arent going to ask or answer a question seriously then what is the point of it. I think that some of the people on here are just on here to be smartasses and they think is actually funny. Maybe they need to start their own smartass group or chat line so they dont waste those of us that seriously need the advise that we need. I have heard of women getting preg. after their husband has had a vasectomy or even after their tubes were tied. I wish I had more advice but I dont. I wish you and your jusband the best of luck

Honestly, this is not the place to go if you want absolutely serious answers all the time. It's filled with 12 year olds, and people who act 12. For every serious person you find here, you'll find 5 more who just want points, and don't care one bit what you are asking, and whether or not you want a serious answer.

As for chat places- this has become yahoo's answer to chat. There are few places online where you won't find people like that, so you either just ignore it, or you get upset over it. Neither are great ways to cope, but you'll spend a lot more energy getting angry over it than just ignoring it.

Once you hit a certain level (2, I think??) you can give answers like that a thumbs down, and when you do, it hides that answer from view.

LOL, I agree, I agree, I agree!

I have a girlfriend due to give birth this next month. Her husband got a vasectomy and did NOT later rub out a sample to test his sperm count. The doctor told him to but he just wanted to believe he was fine. And he was. But his wife sure wasn't! She's fine with having a child, after all, another person to love is no hardship. But she's ticked off that he couldn't care enough to get his sperm tested and she's since left him. (Lots of reasons to have left him, this was just the straw that broke the camel's back).

It happens. That's why the doctor wants to check the sperm count after a vasectomy.

I hope you'll be okay!

Kendra..I did not get to answer your first question yesterday, but yes there are a lot of nasty and even sick minds on this site, but the majority here really do try and help...I felt the same as you when i joined here only a few weeks ago, now I have learned not to answer their questions and dont read their answers..the best way to deal with people like that is to ignore them..dont take their comments to heart, rather take sensible comments to heart and only the ones that help you the most.....good luck to you and your family....let us know about bubs...ok.........(Ozzy Nanna)......

I fully agree with you. Has your husband had his sperm count done lately? Sometimes they do not work, and then it depends on how long ago this was done. Have him go to his doctor and have the test done. I sure hope your husband does not think that you have done something wrong. Just ease your mind and your husbands, get to the doctors and get checked out. Good Luck and Congrats!!!

Your experience is fairly common.

Here's what to do:

underneath your question or beside someone's answer there are symbols, including a flag. Go to the irresponsible answerer's flag. Click on it and report the abuser. In your case, you would open the drop-down menu of reasons and click on "INSULTING OTHER PARTICIPANTS"

If everyone did this when the idiot brigade comes out, yahoo would be leaner and much more efficient.

i agree with u as well although some people ask rather odd questions and wonder if they are joking as well. a couple of the questions ive asked have been anobvious joke and i got silly answers from them. but when i ask serious questions i would like to get serious answers as well and supportive ones too. some ppl here are jerks and need to hold their tongue.
