Would you want to have the camps restored for historical value or would you want them DESTROYED...out of pure resentment?
The reason I am asking is because Bush just signed an executive order to have something like 38 million dolars of grant monies, to unidentified private companies and also some state organizations..ie the (Oregon Parks and Recreation) to restore WWII internment camps restored...I don't get it? http://www.nwasianweekly.com/20072601/nation20072601.htm

my sargent is an *** and makes us work harder than everyone else on the flightline....longer days, no down time, unreasonably high standards. we are all about to go nuts on him, but he is not doing anything that we could really report him for. i could find a way to get out of the army...but dont really want to. i could maybe find a way to go back to my duty station to be with my wife and 2 kids, but not for sure. all i know is i am miserable here...so what do i do?

Ok If you see my last question on this continuing topic you will see that I concluded that I cannot go with my husband to his duty assignment when he finishes his Infantry training because we will have a newborn baby that I believe will likely be only two weeks old. I know that I will get to see him when he comes on leave and my dad has agreed to go with me as my babysitter (lol lol) so I can attend his graduation. My dad is a police detective so he can protect my baby with his gun lol lol. I believe from previous questions that Jamie will deploy soon after arriving wherever Jamie (my love) is assigned so lets say its in 6 months from the date of his graduation. From my last question I found out that there is on military bases lodging available for visitors. Also a spouse can stay free for ten days. My baby sitter (daddy lol lol) and I can take two rooms so my dad can help me with the baby while Jamie and I get reacquainted. Is this realistic? My dad has tons of vacation time.

I have been thinking for a long time about the possibility of joining the airforce. I have not, as of yet, spoken to a recruitor because I don't want go until I really know if it is a good decision to make. I am married and 20 years of age. My questioin is, what are the options for my wife how will it benefit us as a family and are there ways for us not to be away from each other for such long periods of time. For example can she get housing not to far of the base and if so would i be able to visit, or would she be able to visit me. Any information that I get will be very helpful. Once again thank you for your time and I am looking forward to you answers.

My bf is 27, slim, fit, good health, etc. and has a 4 year college degree. What would happen if he went in and enlisted, for officer training? He has no prior military background. I wanted to ask at the air force site but they want too much information from me just to ask some questions. I mean, what does the intake process entail? Do they interview him? What kind of things would disqualify him? Thanks

I'm a single mom of 2 kids. Their biological father owes me quite a bit in back support. He has told me that he is going for his Veteran's benefits from the Army Reserves (which if he gets I know my kids can collect off of) However we are not in agreement about weather the support enforcement unit can garnish his first check from VA (the one where they retro active back to the day he filed) so my question is, can they garnish that big check to get my back support for my children?

I know that we have to get married before he joins. I want to know how the process works from signing up to after boot camp. Like, when will he find out where he will be stationed after boot camp? Will I move while he is in boot camp or will he go first? We have a 3 year old also, so will we live on base or off base? I would just like to know some general information. Thank you for taking time to read this and I hope someone can help me.

ok two soldiers were caught in the NCOs room smoking. the NCO had themarijuana in his room (barracks) and so did the specialist, the pfc is a married solider and had his housing checked(drug dogs) which came up with nothing. what could happen to each one? theyve been interviewed and questioned PFC didnt want to tell on whos it was, higher command is lookin at it like the NCO was the influence on both soldiers considering hes higher rank(which he will get in trouble for hanging out with lower ranks) they all have done their urine analysis and were held for 24 hours? what could be next?
will they all get charged with possesion even f only two of the three had it?
