I'm not sure. I was in the British army for just over 3 years and I believe I will get a very small pension because of it. Good luck and as others have said, it's still worth looking into.

for 3 years and you want a pension not a chance you would have to serve minimum 22 years or have gone to war in those 3 years then you could possibly get a war pension

No. You got a gratuity when you left (remember?) in lieu of any pension rights.
You have to do 16 years (not 22) to be pensionalble.
