The main thing in either case you would have no idea where it would end up; firing a missile from a plane doesn't have the wind problem a tornado does because the air is only from one major direction; in a tornado it should be circular and you would have idea where it would be heading when/if it came out. Entirely possible it would arm and then hit something in the funnel and go off inside. I short they launch missiles only when minimum weather conditions are met and wouldn't do it in a tornado. An RPG could be launched into a tornado but it would not be a very bright thing to do.

It's kind of tricky you could say that if you throw a missile in a tornado it could stop it and blow it up, and it could be risky too what happen if it's a strong tornado and make it change directions it could really happen because on the air nothing is controlled and more if there is force around....

do you mean the fighter jet or wind? if you mean the plane then you couldn't because it would be going too fast, then turn around and shoot you with a better missile. Don't know what happens if you fire one into a tornado wind, you just "blow" (get it) some stuff up.

The original flight path would alter the destination like a missile that has lost control. Most missiles would be so fast it would look like the missile made one sharp turn and then it would go in some random direction.

the persons who extremely comprehend are the missile engineers, so come on adult men ... 'fes up. let us know the actual skinny. I could desire to think of, in case of a omit or 'out of gas' concern you will possibly alway choose the missile to self-destruct and not bypass off thinking by employing itself. this is no longer uncommon for artillery or mortar warheads to be stumbled on undetonated yet whilst have you ever heard of a sparrow or sidewinder warhead being stumbled on? i think of on no account. additionally, whilst have you ever study, "Farmhouse mysteriously explodes. Errant sidewinder suspected as there replace right into a dogfight happening interior the skies on the time." additionally, on no account.

Max effective range for an RPG is 300 meters, thats if you can fire it at 300 meters accurately... which means you got to get pretty damn close to hit it with precision fire.
