My husband was just accepted into the STA-21 core program. He is currently deployed on a sub so I have NO WAY of contacting him! I have no idea of what to expect or what I need to do to prepare for the upcoming months. Please, if someone is out there, preferably an STA-21 officer or spouse, help me out!!

I have been dating this guy for a little bit. We had dated previously back in high school but we broken up after alittle bit and we went our different ways. Well, we ran back into eachother after about four years when I was going through my seperation and divorce. And he is amazing with my little boy, acts just like if he was the father. He told me that he had never stopped thinking about me and presented me with dog tags. When I tried to give them back he told me to "hold onto them" for him. I do not know if this means something in the military when a soldier gives their tags to someone. He will be leaving for Iraq in a few months.

We (Vietnam veterans) were not called baby killers....We were not spit upon. (Urban Myth) I was overseas twice (1969 and 1972) and each time I arrived back in the USA no one called me baby killer "And" no one spit on me. Vietnam Veterans like to tell you that to get sympathy. Also no one stood around booing when I got off the plane. (I was in full military uniform) The war was unpopular and there were anti war protest but not a one of them did anything offensive to me. In fact most war protesters were friendly to me. Once they discovered I was also against the Vietnam war all were good to me. So don't believe in that "Baby killer.....Spitting crap"....It didn't happen.

I should know. Back and forth overseas twice. Treated very well by Antiwar Protesters. ( In military 1969 to 1975)

Armor to protect your genitals? There is the helmet and flak vest, but are you protecting your genitals? Both men and women? I have seen some pictures of troops that wear a triangular type "vest" that covers the crotch area. Anybody know what it is made out of, something like kevlar and a sand pack? I just want to know what does the US government supply our troops to protect the genitals from the damage of an IED?

There was a report by Dr Ibascini, a urologist from the California National Guard, who said while he was on a 4 month tour in Germany, he had to amputate the genitals of 1 to 2 men a day. Apparantly, the government is not keeping track of the number of genital amputations or genital mutilations that occur. What are you or your loved one who serve, doing to protect this vital organ? Both men and women?

Come on, why is Britain leaving the US in iraq as the majority. If the british consider themselves as allies, then why are they not staying with us till the end? Britain used to be a very powerful nation, that would not take anything from any opposing nation, and would not leave a war unless they won. What has happened to the old britain where victory was the number one priority? the way they are leaving us in iraq, gives me the question of whether they are committed to fulfill their old reputation, and commit to support their allies in times of struggle. What is wrong, I used to jump everytime i heard the word Britain, but now when I hear that, the first word that comes to mind is "unworthy". whats wrong britain, have yall lost your touch when it comes to challenges or what? Why dont you send more troops back to iraq, to leverage the US a bit? huh, your making fools of yourselves by leaving, and allowing nations such as Iran believe they are open to develope nukes.

Out of those programs, what would you think someone wanting to enlist in the Marines as a tank crewman should get an associates degree in? I know there obviously arent any direct equivalents, but what do you think would give someone any help whatsoever in the Marines?

ok, so my boyfriend joined the Army Reserves over the summer. He is 18. I turned 16 this summer. In Georgia, US, as far as I’m concerned the legal age to have sex is 16. So technically this would not be considered rape. However I'm just wondering if the military can press charges against him or convict him of rape or something like that. So if anybody can tell me anything about that could you please help me?

Iranian Retaliation Against US Strikes

1. Retaliate against US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan overtly using Shahab-3 missiles armed with
CBR warheads

2. Use proxy groups including al-Zarqawi and Sadr in Iraq to intensify the insurgency and escalate
the attacks against US forces and Iraqi Security Forces

3. Turn the Shi'ite majority in Iraq against the US presence and demand US forces to leave

4. Attack the US homeland with suicide bombs by proxy groups or deliver CBR weapons to al-
Qaeda to use against the US

5. Use its asymmetric capabilities to attacks US interests in the region including soft targets: e.g.
embassies, commercial centers, and American citizens

6. Attack US naval forces stationed in the Gulf with anti-ship missiles, asymmetric warfare, and
Mines

7. Attack Israel with missile attacks possibly with CBR warheads

8. Retaliate against energy targets in the Gulf and temporarily shut off the flow of oil from the Strait
of Hormuz

9. Stop all of its oil and gas shipments to increase the price of oil, inflict damage on the global and
US economies

EVERYWHERE you look, there's another Harry Potter. Posters on the street. TV commercials in every break. Pop-up ads on the internet. Articles in newspapers commenting on the fact that there's a Harry Potter blitz on, and there's no escaping it.

Not since George Bush decided to invade Iraq over weapons of mass destruction has the world been so engrossed with a fantasy story.

The reason for this publicity overload is obvious. Due either to excellent or appalling co-ordination between publisher and studio, the latest Harry Potter book and the latest film are both released this

Last night as I was returning home from the theatre I decided to take a short cut through a local council estate and to be frank the sight that greeted me was appalling, a complete chavalanche of kids wearing sports clothing, standing around smoking, drinking and fighting. I saw one couple fornicating in a shop doorway, surely this is unacceptable to the honest, decent hard working people of Britain.
So I propose we either send these yobs to Iraq for a minimum of 2 years or we carpet bomb these estates and get rid of the vermin once and for all.
Please star this question to show you agree.
I am sure with your support we can get the government to act on this important issue that affects us all.
Thank you.

This is in reference to the US Civil War. If there were a peaceful break, death and destruction would have been avoided on both sides. What were the real reasons for the North to go to war to stop the split?

PLEASE NOT THAT I DO NOT WISH TO OFFEND WOMEN. I just want to know what you think about this. I think that these are the main things that lead to discord and fighting among humans in this world. Answering yes for women however is not going to decrease their status just like land and wealth is going to remain preciouse even if you agreee that it is cause of discord. What else do you think leads to war besides these things and religion?
