Might DOES mean right, unfortunately, and if nothing else, that's the lesson the US has taught everybody. Of course, it only goes for them and the ones they choose.
Another problem is that there are no independent, neutral countries any more. They all have to go ask their Uncle first and then act. Peace forces are a noble idea, but a poor realization. There's no such thing as non-biased, neutral military force. They're all out in the field after they've been fed instructions by their superiors, who are not independent. Which brings us back to the Uncle.

They should be made up of peoples of ALL nations. A World Peace Force. And the US should never be allowed to invade another country without its support/approval again.
Sorry if people think this puts the US at a disadvantage, but who made the US world policeman anyway? Might doens't mean right.

The UN has tried that. They end up getting soldiers from 3rd world countries that are poorly trained and have worse discipline. In the Congo thousands of UN troops have been accused of rape and other crimes.
