Come on, why is Britain leaving the US in iraq as the majority. If the british consider themselves as allies, then why are they not staying with us till the end? Britain used to be a very powerful nation, that would not take anything from any opposing nation, and would not leave a war unless they won. What has happened to the old britain where victory was the number one priority? the way they are leaving us in iraq, gives me the question of whether they are committed to fulfill their old reputation, and commit to support their allies in times of struggle. What is wrong, I used to jump everytime i heard the word Britain, but now when I hear that, the first word that comes to mind is "unworthy". whats wrong britain, have yall lost your touch when it comes to challenges or what? Why dont you send more troops back to iraq, to leverage the US a bit? huh, your making fools of yourselves by leaving, and allowing nations such as Iran believe they are open to develope nukes.

People in Britain want their soldiers home, both Britain and the U.S. should withdraw their troops and let the Iraqis sort their problems out themselves. The suicide bombers and insurgents in Iraq are hell bent on driving us out and will never stop because they are fanatical, there is no point in staying where we are not wanted. I support the soldiers in Iraq 100% but i personally would prefer them home with their families.
Although British troops are being withdrawn from Iraq, there are more being sent in to Afghanistan to fight against the Taleban.

The US has always been the majority of the force in Iraq, there are other countries which make up the "coalition force" but there only a couple thousand troops from other countries. Britain only had something like 16,000 troops in Iraq.

Maybe they think they made fools of themselves by going there in the first place since Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and had no WMDs.

But your question suggests that you don't know the difference between the government of a country and its people. Blair went to Iraq with Bush (who knows why?) but the British people didn't seem to support him. Now that Blair is gone (thank God) things are changing.

Considering yourself someone's ally does NOT mean you have to support their foolish endeavors. If a friend tells you he's going to jump off a bridge, are you going to go and jump with him just because he's a friend?

Britain has carried out its Military obligation with regards their service in Iraq, they have met and kept their deadlines in their areas of responsibility.

You obviously have no idea of the small size of the British Army, due to cutbacks instigated by the Labor Government.

So your RANT at the British would be better directed at your own US Politicians and US Military High Command.

there's no longer something incorrect with "wanting" it, yet anticipating it relatively is unreasonable. Colonization of African countries and India. immigration following WWII, and so on. i do no longer want tp be insensitive to you feeling which you're loosing a countrywide or ethnic identity yet there's no longer plenty that is performed. i in my view do no longer care what people appear as if or what language they talk or what they positioned on. I purely want people to be efficient contributors of society. I stay interior the US and that i be attentive to many whites who experience an identical way as you. on the grounds that i'm black, I come on the concern from a diverse attitude. i wish your frustration gets greater appropriate with time.
