He might of been. He most likely would never been elected as PM and I think he may of either became a historian for the British Empire, the leader of an African colony or an adviser perhaps in the House of Lords.

I don't think he would have been an obscure nobody. He was well known and respected even before the mid 1930s.

No. It is well known that if it weren't for Hitler and WWII, Churchill would have become an Oscar winning Hollywood producer and lived to well over 100 years old.

g-day!

Without WWII Churchill would probably have gone down in history as the guy responsible for the disasterous Gallipoli campaign during WWI.

Probably not. When asked how would history judge him he answered I will right the history, as he did. Although he might of been voted the Greatest Briton by the BBC (if it wasn't fixed) If that's true why was he voted out of office after the victory of WWII. If a PM called an election today after wining the world cup(football) he would win!

No, but his time in British Politics would have been much shorter, he was the right man for the job in the long run, while not 100% (but who is?) he managed to keep the British in good spirits till Hitler and his goons were defeated.

However his "pro-Colonial British Empire" stance was severely dated by the end of WW2. His time was over.

He'd be known as the idiot that was responsible for the Dardenelles campaign in WW1 and as a scare mongering old fool - but he did have Hitler and WW2 didn't he.

No, but for that time in history, I think he would have been known for his great one-liners.....we have nothing to fear but fear itself, etc. He ranks right up there with Yogi Berra.
