In 2001, Pakistan agreed to allow US military overflights in the War on Terror, yet since our victory in Afghanistan it is the border areas of Pakistan that have hidden the Taliban and Al-Qaeda.
A few weeks ago, Pakistan raided the Red Mosque which housed militant extremists.
And in his third message this month, Bin Laden himself addressed AQ's position on Pakistan and Musharraf.

In my article, "An Ally Assailed", I examine some of those events along with my own experiences with the Paki Military (not in it).
Why do the Paki people protest the US?
Does AQ consider Musharraf an ally or enemy?
How does that which is written in YA effect the propaganda of AQ and worldwide opinion of the US?

I've been hearing stories about a new "black project" military craft that will supposedly fast enough to cross the Atlantic ocean in a half hour.

But the rumors, magazine articles, and televison speculations have been going on for years...

Does anyone have any links to more information, including any kind of verification of whether the project really exists?

Remember-- The stealth planes were well kept secrets and denied by the government up until the day we used them in war.

I sprained my ankle while on active duty at AT two years in a row. I have LOD's for both of them. My ankle still bothers me. I would go see a civilian doctor, but I don't have any insurance. My unit says that the doctors cleared me and that if I went to see the Army doctor, they couldn't do anything for me. I never had a follow up the second time I injured it. And if it still hurts after the injury, I would think that it is still their responsibility. Does anyone know if I really have the right to see a doctor at the army's expense or at least the right to see one of their doctors. I have all the medical documents saying that I was injured on active duty.

I am going into the Nuclear program as of now. My ship date is February 6, 2008. Is there any way to get it moved up to an earlier date? Also, if not, would I be able (if I really wanted to) choose a different job where I could ship out earlier? At this point I don't really want to change jobs, but I can't stand having to wait four months before going to boot camp.

In the event of a draft, will mentally impaired persons like myself be forced into combat duty?

I'm basically considered bipolar - that's what's listed on my medical records. I've been seeing psycho therapists and psychiatrists since primary school (in high school now) and have been taking medication for over 6 years.

I really don't want to be drafted in to the military unless I was awarded some high position (officer perhaps..)

My mom says they won't accept mentally phucked folks even in the most extreme circumstances of conscription, but I want to make sure.

Help?

"A MOM AND DAD IN IRAQ DRIVE THROUGH AN AMERICAN MILITARY CHECKPOINT, THAT ACCORDING TO THE STORY, HADNT EVEN BEEN SET UP YET. ALL THAT MARKED IT OFF AS A CHECKPOINT WAS A SINGLE PIECE OF YELLOW TAPE STRETCHED ACROSS A DIRT PACKED ROAD. A SINGLE SOLDIER WAS ON SITE, STATIONED AT THE AREA UNTIL THE REST OF THE CREW SHOWED UP TO BUILD THE ROADSIDE QUARTERS WHERE SOLDIERS WOULD STAY TO MAN THE CHECKPOINT.

AS THE MOM AND DAD DROVE THROUGH, THE SOLDIER LIFTED HIS RIFLE, CLICKED THE AUTOMATIC SELECTOR SWITCH, AND KILLED BOTH OF THEM WITH ARMOR PIERCING ROUNDS, LEAVING THREE KIDS ORPHANED. THE MILITARY SAID IT WAS JUST A CASUALTY OF BATTLE AND LET IT GO AT THAT."

My husband is looking into FAO for Europe. What should I expect? I found lots of stuff about what FAOs might do, but not about the process to get there.

I know the training takes 3-4.5 years. Where does the training take place?

I read about the ICT being approx. one year. Is that at the end of the 3-4.5 years?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Will the fact that I've never even held a gun before be a huge problem?

The marching looks pretty complicated, is it hard to get a hold of?

Are the drill sergeants as big of d*cks as they are made out to be, I don't know if I can take somebody screaming in my face.

Is it true that you can join with a buddy and be guaranteed to serve basic with them?

I have been dating this army officer before he left for Iraq. He told me he was getting his divorce done and I trusted him.

After I did everything to support his deployment for 5 months, including suffering a miscarriage (of his kid) by myself, $500 a month on care packages/phone cards and helping his father to get through this etc. he told me he never got the divorce done, and he had to work on his marriage again as his wife threatened him. I don't even know what is truth what is lie anymore.

I am so depressed now. It's so not fair to me, what should I do next? Please help.

I've already enlisted, and have been through the Meps medical exam. I've been checked off as my medical status being acceptable. I've already been told I'm leaving for basic training in 2 days, and my AIT has already been reserved for me. I do need a root canal done, and just haven't gotten around to it. Will this disqualify me this late in the proccess?
