i would think it's because the soldiers and marines are the ones that are on the ground all of the times...also these are the two branches of the military that are deployed the most and for the longest amounts of times....

I would have to say that it's because the Army and the Marines, having the majority of the combat arms jobs, fit that image of "rough and tough" that people really look up to, better than the other services. No offense to the Navy or the Air Force.

That is a good point. We are all a team. I think it might be because the majority of the fighting and dieing is from the Marines and Army.

You suggested, "i could desire to work out no longer helping the war, that's comprehensible, yet why could you no longer help the people struggling with and dropping their lives over there?" i think of the subject is that the people that don't help the troops can not see the bigger photograph and are unable to split the ladies and adult males struggling with the war from the regulations that introduced the war. i think of, in case you may desire to get the people with the signs and warning signs asserting "do no longer help the troops" to think of appropriate to the people and not the coverage, you will locate that greater people help the troops than do no longer.

To be quite honest, When it comes to occupation and invasion of a country, it requires bodies and many people. You cannot overtake a country with just bombing it as the air force and navy do. Occupation comes with marines and Army forces invading the country and occupying the land. This job is done by the Marines and Army - the two REAL branches of the service that do the damn hard work. Hooah.

I think it is because the everyday job of the Navy and Air Force has not changed from before September 11th.
They still sit on ships and push buttons, or service the same Aircraft as before. The only thing that changes for them is the mission of the ship or aircraft.

If they're showing pictures of Marines, its quite likely that there are a few Navy Corpsmen caught on film too.

Because it is the Army and Marines that are having difficulty recruiting their quotas. The Navy and Air Force are not.
And the SEALs don't like to be photographed.
