Our military is trained for battle and are doing an unprecedented outstanding job in a new kind of war. Do those against the war that are demanding our troops come home realize they are only prolonging this war? and keeping the terrorists laughing?

Please read the end of this article about how our troops can be arrested for trying to "complete their mission". Those against this war at home are psychologically devastating many of our best troops with their antiwar propaganda. This message of TOTAL CONFUSION daily, from back home is potentially more psychologically devastating than the war itself. To many of our politicians and the antiwar people I say: “shut up and grow up”, who else agrees??

Do you think that there is any comparison to the isolationism that infected the US in the early 1900's (pre WWI) and the late 1930's, (pre WWII) to not wanting to spend money outside our borders on other peoples concerns and not wanting to spend money on space exploration?

Such as, an American Soldier guarding a road in Germany in 1945, after the fall of Berlin... What if the unit he was with forgot about him, and that he was on watch and left, and he is still that road waiting for his relief or to be secured.

ranking marines have to address him by his title and then his last name. Corporals in the Marine Corps alot of times have command at the squad and at times at the platoon level. is this true for the other services? do E-4's in the other branches at times are responsible for a unit even at the platoon level or equivalent? also in the other services, must lower ranking enlisted address an E-4 by his/her title?

How many people would be interested in joining a gun for hire organization? A legal one, authorized and supported by a government that is non-hostile toward the U.S. government (but not the U.S. government itself) that carries out what ever jobs it wants?

On that date April 12th 2003, al-Ghazali and his family sheltered in their house as a fierce street battle erupted in his neighborhood. In the midst of the fighting, he noticed that the Americans had called up an oddly configured tank. Then to his amazement the tank suddenly let loose a blinding stream of what seemed like fire and lightning, engulfing a large passenger bus and three automobiles. Within seconds the bus had become semi-molten, sagging "like a wet rag" as he put it. He said the bus rapidly melted under this withering blast, shrinking until it was a twisted blob about the dimensions of a VW bug. As if that were not bizarre enough,he explicitly describes seeing numerous human bodies shriveled to the size of newborn babies.Cox report that former USSR once was deeply involved in exploring high-powered electromagnetic weapons, but now Russia is no longer pursuing them. Other nations believed to be conducting research and arming these arsenals are China,Great Britain and France.

I was watching "mail call" on the History channel (great show!) and, when answering a question about when a US battleship's guns were last fired in anger, they showed footage. Why does a battleship's guns, after firing, "dip," i.e., drop noticeably?

And while we're on the topic, what keeps a battleship from capsizing from the enormous recoil of those huge guns, especially when they're fired in rapid succession?
