4000 out of 2.4 million personnel in the US Armed Forces.

Based on that you make the assumption that everyone in the US armed forces believe that there is no plan for victory?

Public school must be getting very bad these days.

1. It is kind of stupid for a solder to desert because of what the leader of another nation does.
2. I wouldn't trust the BBC not to cook the stats.
3. Why do *you* care what our president does or plans.... Your country have some independent plan of action?

4000 isn't the number, more like 2000. And its not about bush. Its because there living in hell and some cannot handle the pressure of war.

Even if it is 4000 which i question, that isnt a huge number in terms of the overall force. My advice is not to be such an ideologue and start caring more about your country than your political party.
