Not necessarily but the outcome for the USA would be a lot worse than that for Iraq

Not necessarily, actually probably not. a similar question could be...does war with russia equal war with china? everyone, including the US, is always making friends and alliances for those exact purposes. The US did it during WW 2 and we're "trying" to do that currently. All that russia is currently doing is trying to restore a balance of power. they feel that the power in the west will be too powerful with the missile shields in W.europe, so they feel threatened. the US would react in teh same way, but there's no need to worry about that...there's no war with russia in the near future. they don't want to go to war with the US anymore than the US wants war with russia. Iran "technically" is not a threat to the US, so there's no reason for us to go to war with them, regardless of what you hear is the news media. there is NO plan for Iranian war. the same way that russia is making friends with china and iran is exactly what we are doing with poland, czech republic, bulgaria, england, australia, taiwan, japan, germany and france. we are not always "buddy buddy" with those nations, but they will ALWAYS side with the US over russia/china....nothing to worry about

No. Russia has been pushing up the anti US rhetoric to cover their own political problems. Putin has been making himself a dictator and he needs to take the international pressure off himself and his self selected government.
