with antiquated in weaponry have, to the surprise of the entire world {except america},dealt the Americans defeat after defeat on the battlefield.their successes are too numerous to count.just watch the videos.they the ragtag bunch have the U.S. at the brink of a humiliating defeat.their numbers have swollen despite your efforts.their determination is greater than yours despite your best efforts.so whats more effective faith in technology or faith in the promise that their Lord says {Fight them and Allah will punish them with your hands?}whose faith seems to have the upper hand?answer me if you can.

Is there a certain degree that will help or hurt chances of becoming a pilot in the army after ROTC? Whether it's a science degree or an art degree? Or does it even matter just as long as I have a bachelor's?

Lewis, Wash., USA..,on the eve of fathers day, lets take a moment to send this hero's parents a message, from the 50 states he so valiantly gave his life for..(google his name to send message)...To all the Fathers here and in heaven, i wish you a Happy Fathers Day....we support you..............Semper Fi

I'm currently a legal US resident. I've been in the US for 7 years, went to middle school and recently graduated highschool. I kind of wanted to go to the Navy and become a MA, but since it requires US Citizenship, I was wondering if the Air Force has the same requirements.

Planning to be a Police Officer

any suggestions would be appriciated! any!

I scored 77 on my ASVAB. My reason for joining the millitary was for 75% public service 25% signing bonus. My bonus is $20,000. I agreed to be a UT Utilitiesman. I'm nervous because I'm not interested in UT. It's blue collar work, and I'm not that kind of guy. However, I feel I could adapt as it's reserves, and I don't see them calling Navy reserves unless WW III broke out. That doesn't mean I wouldn't serve and fight for this great nation. I'm just not the real tough kind of guy. I'm very laid back. Please advise me what you all think of my situation?

Ok, first realize this is a hypothetical question.

Lets say I scored really well on the DLAB, but could already speak Russian and took the DLPT in Russian and got the highest possible score... would the military still send me to Monterey to learn another language anyhow? What if I still wanted to go there to learn another language?? How would that all work?

thanks

I keep hearing that Bush should send his kids to Iraq. The millitary is 100% voluntary. His kids ambitions are there own. They can do whatever they want with there lives. They didn't make the decision for there father to run for President. They are there own people. I've heard one wants to teach in the inner-city, and another wants to do humanitarian work in a third world country. These are noble ambitions, and they aren't millitary related. So, for anyone who opposes the war, don't bring up Bush's kids in your argument. They are there own people, and they may not even be interested in politics. He can't force his kids to join the millitary just like you can't force your child to be a doctor or an engineer. To all you people that make that argument including MATT DAMON, listen to this blog. OK. MATT DAMON. You know what you said that one time. Would you force your kids to become actors because you are an actor.

I'm American. However, I am a citizen as I was born there and lived there until I was five years old, and I am still fluent in Russian. Two of my aunts live there, and they are helping me set up. I'm 18.

Is it true that they hate Americans (I'm only 1/4 Russian, so I'm not "totally Russian")?

If you are wondering thre reason I am being discharged, I really don't know, but I think it is because of "failure to disclose info" at MEPS..I think! not sure....by the way, i am in the Navy DEP program, scheduled to leave for basic on June 26, but i am waiting for a waiver , but hane not heard a thing yet from my recruiters..all they is is " Be patient, we are working on it"..i definitely have the feeling I will be let go at this point, but I would like to try to join the Army or National Guard.

Im thinking something like the Red Dawn movie?
I think not very far, because so many Americans have guns, but just wanted to see what others thought.

Hello I immigrated to the US when I was 10. I recently graduated highschool and planning to go enlist in the navy, however I wasn't aware of the job requirements. I want to become a MA but it is required for me to be a US Citizen (i'm a legal US resident).

My mom and sister became US Citizens a couple months ago, but since I already turned 18, she couldnt carry me along with her. Another problem is that I want to join, go to bootcamp, in late August/September and I think the process of becoming a US Citizen will take months and months to be over with.

I need suggestions, advices, etc. I want to become an MA since I plan on becoming a police officer after being in the military.

thanks in advance
