I love our troops so much that I want them home safe on American soil, back with their families and loved ones. Do you love them enough to carpool a few times a week or turn down your air conditioning or take slightly shorter showers, stuff like that? If every single American minimizes their energy consumption by just a little, we can reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and go back to being a strong and self-reliant country again. For me, these small sacrifices are the most patriotic thing we can do for our brave soldiers overseas and for future generations. I love America! Do you?

This weekend we in the UK have been remembering those who fought and died in the Falklands conflit 25 years ago. Generally we bury the fallen near the battle ground, from what I see in films and on TV you always seem to bring your dead back to America. Is this true or not and what do you think of leaving the dead where they died?

It is very apparent that the conflict between the Palestinians and Israel is grossly misunderstood. Israel has a nasty habit of violating the Geneva Convention and its treatment of Palestinians is just short of, if not already, Genocide. It is sickening that people use the Holocaust to justify Israel in anyway. Israel has been getting away with murder, literally, since UNSCOP gave them sovereignty.

Isn't it important for Mid-East peace as well as security in other parts of the world that Israel be held accountable?

This link paints good picture of the blight of the Palestinians

So we've been in for quit a few years now. We have been to a couple of bases, but there was always a reason other than just putting in orders. So my husband just put in for orders overseas for his first time and I was wondering about how long it may be until we find out if we're going anywhere and are our chances high for going? He's a cop and put in for overseas extended long (he put in for 4 bases in the same area.)
