My husband left 2 weeks ago & is in training for Iraq. Well, he just called me today and asked me if id fly and see him for a few hours becuase he has some time off. But the problem is, is that im trying to adapt to him gone & if i go to see him over there, im gonna go back to square one and get serverly sad & depressed again. It took me since he left to get where I am with this. I cant see him over there. (hes not in Iraq yet). I know he needs me (i guess. Hes been acting strange since hes been there) but at the same time, im tryng to deal with this in MY own way. Also, hes coming home in 1 & 1/2 weeks for a few days. But he coming home will be okay cause he'll be HOME again & i wont have to see him live like he does. Also, i have a bad fear of flying. What should i do? These answers will have a big impact on what ill do.

considering that there were no WMD's in iraq and that even to this day iraq has never attacked another country.......

and yes, for those people who have been living under a rock for a decade iraq has NOTHING again NOTHING to do with 9/11.

Dear Soldier,

This morning I held my child, close to me, I felt his blonde hair softly nuzzle in the nap of my neck. I smiled as he laughed at Sponge Bob Squarpants oh not the Mermaid Man Episode again? I kissed my husband goodbye as I rushed in the door from work and he rushed out again. Thankfull for a brief moment. I made breakfast which consisted of coffee and toast. I prayed for you and your families, I prayed for all of the little things that I take for granted. A smile, a whisper a tear in my young son's eye as he fights his afternoon nap. I think of all the sacrafices you are making to make this world safer, to keep my children safe and for this I say THANK YOU!!!! May God continue to bless the Soldiers that fight for our freedoms,a and may God Continue to bless you and your family. Thank you for all your Sacrafices!!!!

Does US NAVY personnel with dental jobs go to war like Iraq? It seems like the dental corp is together with the medical corps in the Navy and I know for a fact that the medical corps go to war with the marines. Will they send dental people to the front lines? It seems silly but some tell me it's true.

First off Iraq had No WMD's and No 9/11 Connections (Bush Admits it in the link below)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-c8Bf8LWWk&mode=related&search=

So without the terrorist connections and WMD's were there any justifications for waging war against Iraq (e.g. Saddam's Human Rights violations or War Crimes) and what would have been a more Strategically Sound Plan?

Not been on for a while and there doesn't seem to be much on about the Falklands especially as this is the 25th anniversary year, 255 British Service Personal lost, I know it sounds small fry now with Iraq but at the time it was a big deal to the United Kingdom as as much as Leftys want to give the 8000 mile away crap it's still a peice of Britain and I'm proud that my Country could protect it's citizens.....I got down there in 94 and laid a reef and the hill were my Uncle was killed in a helicopter crash also left a Bottle of Newcy Brown for him..I'm Proud he did what he did and as Usual he will be in my thoughts on Rememberance Sunday......All I ask is give them a though as well...

The numbers doen't lie. According to my count, in the last 100 years we've stalemated or lost just about as much as we've won.

Stalemated or Lost:
Korean War
Vietnam
Iraq (heading that way)

Won:
World War 1
World War 2
The Gulf War
Afghanistan (heading that way)

Why do you think this is the case? Have we lost or stalemated just because it wasn't a politically viable option to wage "Total War"? Or are we far more weak than we think we are?

I find it amazing how people consider themselves subject matter experts without any relevent education and no personal experience in international affairs. I understand having opinions and to even openly question those that have the education and experience. But why do people constantly grasp onto sound bites of one party or another and throw them around like they understand the issue?

I take it we're still looking for them? They're the pretext for war, after all.

We know he had them at some point, because the US sold arms to Iraq to fight Iran so they didn't have to do it. Where did Saddam hide them? Should Saddam's right-hand men be interrogated into telling us where they are?

If I was a member of the US/UK military administration, I'd be worried about having nuclear, biological and chemical munitions lying in the middle of the desert with a civil war breaking out.

How long does boot camp last?
Are the recruits allowed to call fam/friends, or get online at any point?
Do they leave right after graduation for more training, or do they have time off?

And seriously, if you're just answering questions to get points, please move on, I'm looking for real answers.
