I find it amazing how people consider themselves subject matter experts without any relevent education and no personal experience in international affairs. I understand having opinions and to even openly question those that have the education and experience. But why do people constantly grasp onto sound bites of one party or another and throw them around like they understand the issue?

I noticed in business that "generally" the people that would complain about the incompetence of others proved to be the most incompetent.
Deflection, dazzle em with footwork and baffle them with bravo sierra, it's a long list.
I don't remember where I heard this but it was a great line.
"Those of you that think you know everything really annoy those of us that do"
Maybe someone has a PhD. and knows that stats on the frequency of narcissism in the population.
If you want to really want to see the fireworks challenge them with facts when you know them. There is a guy at my neighborhood coffee shop I do this to. Maybe someone know where that puts me on the abnormal psychology list.

Because they all watched a special on the military channel, or just got done watching band of brothers, therefore they are now military experts. Thats my theroy.
