Dear Soldier,

This morning I held my child, close to me, I felt his blonde hair softly nuzzle in the nap of my neck. I smiled as he laughed at Sponge Bob Squarpants oh not the Mermaid Man Episode again? I kissed my husband goodbye as I rushed in the door from work and he rushed out again. Thankfull for a brief moment. I made breakfast which consisted of coffee and toast. I prayed for you and your families, I prayed for all of the little things that I take for granted. A smile, a whisper a tear in my young son's eye as he fights his afternoon nap. I think of all the sacrafices you are making to make this world safer, to keep my children safe and for this I say THANK YOU!!!! May God continue to bless the Soldiers that fight for our freedoms,a and may God Continue to bless you and your family. Thank you for all your Sacrafices!!!!

Beautiful.... Thank you!
My husband is in Iraq right now. Knowing what he's suffering through, I strive to be thankful for all the little things--like my 3 y/o appearing downstairs during our dinner party tonight without pants... but he'd gone potty on his own!
I thank you for thinking of ALL of our troops. They need all of the support they can get!
God bless our troops!

(And what got "sea link"'s knickers in a twist!? You didn't claim to represent all of America, it was a personal letter expressing your thankfulness to our brave troops! Sheesh. Some people will look for ANY reason to disparage those of us who support the troops!)

they have mixed feelings. on the one hand, they want to get rid of that hell hole and get back to some good ole american pie if ya know what i mean. on the other, they also feel that they should finish the job they started and hate to see all the hard work they've done go to waste. they more than anyone understand the progress and setbacks that are occurring in Iraq. they're probably much more upset with congress than Bush. Bush, while arguably inefficient and stubborn, is at least able to make things happen. congress is definitely inefficient and stubborn, but really hasn't done anything at all lately, and more so than usual since the dems took power

Thank you. I"m not an Iraq vet, I'm a Vietnam vet, and I cannot tell you how much this would have meant to us back then, when all the libdems were spitting on us and calling us baby killers because we were trying to defend their freedoms. Our men and women in Iraq are there for YOU, people, whether you support them or not. They are there so you libdems can badmouth them and call them names.

Not over there but have friends who have been and could go back, I will download your words to all of them because the words you speak are perfect.

When you see one of us on the street back home, you can buy us a cup of coffee and we will call it even. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
