If you are wondering thre reason I am being discharged, I really don't know, but I think it is because of "failure to disclose info" at MEPS..I think! not sure....by the way, i am in the Navy DEP program, scheduled to leave for basic on June 26, but i am waiting for a waiver , but hane not heard a thing yet from my recruiters..all they is is " Be patient, we are working on it"..i definitely have the feeling I will be let go at this point, but I would like to try to join the Army or National Guard.

You are 'not sure'? Right, and I am the King of Siam! You know EXACTLY what you did not tell them, and you may or may not get your self a waiver. Frankly, I hope you don't get in. If you have a background that is so shameful that you did not put it down at MEPS, you are not worthy to wear the uniform of any branch. Just my opinion.

You will have to send a letter to the Navy recruiter then the Navy ( unlike other branch or branches ) give you a DEP discharge letter and you can go join the Army then. If your recruiter won't give you a DEP discharge get one from the boss of the recruiting office by getting the boss's number. You got tricked by one of the oldest tricks in the book the old you can retrain for something else after you pick your job. That is the oldest trick in the book you can cross train after A school which is probably around year or two in then have to wait for approval cross-train which usually takes a reenlistment. Navy is one of the nicer branches to get a DEP discharge from.

LISTEN TO THIS STORY. I have to make this clear to you. Years ago me and my buddy joined the DEP. He joined the Navy and I joined the Army. Well, he chickened out and wanted to get out and they fed him some hooplah about being "AWOL". So he shot off his pinky toe and got out of the DEP and his "contract." Well, I came down with poision ivy and MEP's would not let me go with poision ivy. As you should know, you cannot spend more than a year in the DEP. So what my recruiter did was write me off as a "DEP loss." A dep loss is this plain in simple, someone wants to join the military, signs the paper, and then doesn't go. You do not owe the military ANYTHING until you get on that plane. What had happened after the ivy went away, I just simply filled out the paperwork again and was in DEP another time. If you just stop showing up for the Navy and don't go, just tell them and an Army/National Guard recruiter will be more than willing to help you out with this.

Holy Cow! It's Antonio the thief and liar asking about the Navy DEP............AGAIN!

You will not be able to join any branch of the service. As stated many, MANY times before. You lied on your application, if one can believe you, you have more criminal offenses than stated here.

Keep your job at the mall. I'm sure a management position at Hot Dog on a Stick will open up eventually.............

It's not hard at all....but depends on the reason for discharge; failure to disclose information is never a good thing. I find it hard to believe you are unsure as to the exact reason why. you'll get your answer soon enough....the 26th is only ten days away. I'm really not following your story though

antonio, antonio, antonio.. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET INTO ANY BRANCH.

you LIED. the reason you are being discharged will be available to each branch, so they will know why you didn't ship. and as far as they are concerned, they will be VERY unwilling to give you a second chance.

give it a rest, you have been harping on this for months now.

let this be a lesson to anyone outtherr who is considering lying to the Federal government. Don't.

well I hope it wasnt failure to disclose info, because if its info bad enough that they wont let you in, I dont want you in my Army, but Army is basically open to everyone, they take all the rejects of other branches.
