6 year Marine myself. I hear where you're coming from.

I'm not sure there's been a conflict in the last 100 years where our troops got the respect, support, and proper care when returning to civilian life.

Every day I read about how many soldiers died. Every 3 weeks or so I go the VA hospital in Tampa to visit with the injured and disabled.

Hardly anyone comes to visit them. And from my time spent at the hospital I can tell you that they feel worthless, betrayed, and disappointed in our government.

The government wants them to go and fight, but once they are rendered useless to the war, they're cast aside and forgotten about. And they don't even receive the proper medical care that they deserve.

I'm extremely bitter about how our boys and girls are treated.
