What should I say when they ask me if Ive been drinking when I get pulled over (If I've had a couple too many, but am not noticeably drunk?)

Okay, just need a lil' advice..My brother heard voices that told him to drive so he took off down the highway in moms car and ended up in a high speed chase w/ cops. He is off his meds again due to his Dr just leaving him w/ no scripts. He has never done anything like this before and I seriously doubt he actuallly tried to hit the cop, he just puuled over saw guns pointed at him freaked out and took off again. He is not violent and all he does is go to church, pray , and read the bible. So If anyone has ever had this situation or anything similar please help!

I am seventeen years old, and I'm sure with that said (I automatically qualify as being irresponisble). I was recently pulled over by a state police officer and ticketed for running 70 m.p.h. in a 55.

Now my problem comes in - I (honestly) was not running 70 m.p.h.
I'm not a speeder because I'm never in much of a hurry over anything -even things I should be.

I didn't speak up and say anything at the time of the stop because I was petrified of the officer, so I kept my mouth shut and took my ticket.

What can I do now?

I've had my license for a little over a year 1/2 now.
That was my first citation.

Is it like sticking your finger in an electric socket??

I see the message boards are lighting up over the pregnant woman tased in Ohio, and several responses mention how deadly the taser is, so I thought I'd post some facts.

Voltage does not kill, amperage kills. The taser works on .0021 amps, 30 times less than the minimum lethal amount of .07 amps.

Electricity is not stored in the body, so if the taser was the cause of death, they would die while they were being tased, not hours later. All the deaths I have read about were from pre-existing medical conditions, most commonly a drug overdose that was lethal in itself.

Tasers effects muscle control only. Not the brain, not the heart, not organs. Muscle control is not life threatening.

Now I am not going to get into justification, that is another issue that needs to be considered on a case by case basis and can not be addressed by itself. I just want to know about deaths.

If you have a link to a news article that says otherwise, please post it here.

I've been living at this address for the past 3 years and for the last year and a half I have been recieving mail at my home address and they have never lived here.

They have established quite a legit looking profile , I'm looking at the return address of all this mail. No I'm not opening this up, I've got car dealerships, labor unions, financial institutions mailing stuff here. To anyone it would look like these people are legit, wage-earning, great credit rating people. I used to have their OHIP mail coming here too. What to do, the federal mail service would only return to sender. Any ideas?

I just recently broke up with my boyfriend. Yesterday I had packed all his clothes and things that he had left here and gave them to him. While we were together we had bought DVDs together and a bunch of Christmas presents. I gave him the gifts I had bought him. Now he says he wants the DVDs that we bought together and he wants the gifts he bought me. He even says he's going to call the cops on me. Can he do this?

I refuse to give him the stuff.

Does Maryland extradite on a misdemeanor?

Currently all sex criminals are listed in national and local databases. They cannot be removed from that list.

They are required to give notice when and where they move their homes.

Many may not think that part is controversial...

Streakers and flashers are listed as "sex criminals" and must do the same thing.
So, someone that streaks once in college while drunk and gets caught, they will be listed as a "sex offender" for the rest of their lives.

Is that right?

To make sure everyone knows, I have not done anything like that and am not one. I just wonder about the ethics of doing all of those things.

you tell police another car hit your rental car, they then ask if you have the name of the person who hit you--the reply is yes i have the name- the police then says -We cant handle this being that you have the persons name,it is now a civil matter..What do you do? In filing claims on this matter it is a problem due to no police report. I am at a loss.
This is for the state of NC.

A woman tells an officer(upset her husband got pulled over)info on an illegal driver.Four days later, the guy is fixing to pull into the driveway of his residence to talk to the office manager as this officer passes him driving towards him.Driver continues on into the office with his business. The officer calls into the office and tells the owner(also with law inforcement-DTF)that he has someone in his office thats driving illegally. The driver and office manager go outside, where the officer os waiting. Driver is charged with driving on suspended Lic., no insurance, and fictishous tags. No arrest is made, and vehicle wasnt towed thankfully, due to the owner stepping in. Can an officer watch for someone just because someone else says they are illegally driving? More so, can you be ticketed for DOS if you were not pulled over while driving(no lights, nothing),had entered a building so forth w/out being in pursuit, and not physically seen in the driver seat?Appreciate answers asap Arkansas
