No one. He was shot in the back of the head and killed by Bob Ford.

Bob Ford shot him while he was standing on a chair straightening a painting in his home. Bob Ford was cooperating with law enforcement so he could be granted immunity for his involvement with the Jame's gang. He also used the murder to better himself financially. The backlash was great at his betrayal of a friend though. He was eventually shot dead himself.
