I have to file a fraud case against a builder in delhi. Which authority should i file the case?

I had booked a property with a builder in delhi. Even after 1 yesr passing the builder did not give posession and now absconding from his office. How and where I can file the fraud case against him

Since this person is absconding it will be very difficult for you to get any immediate relief either in civil or in criminal form against him. Although this is a clear case of cheating & dishonest misappropriation of property for which a criminal F.I.R. should be lodged against him in the nearest police station where his office is located. In such a case the police may not be of much help immediately as this fellow is absconding, but at least this formal F.I.R. will keep the local police in alert regarding this man & his criminal activities. In the mean time you can file a complaint against him for recovery of this booking amount & interest thereon in the consumer forum of the jurisdiction where his head/main office is located, this complaint goes to the consumer forum only as the booking amount for the property in this case is less then 20 lakhs & try to get the summons served over to him. These are the only immediate legal action that you can initiate now.
