Law Enforcement & Police - October 2007

I was out at the grocery store and the bank the day before. I realized when I got home however that there was a scratch no dent but scratch as if another car tapped my bumper. It is not seriously damaged at all. How do I find witnesses? Should I even bother taking action? And if so what would happen how would I find the person that did it?

the practice in America, so maybe American women admire that type of woman. It is clearly not a sanitary necessity, since men don't shave(and women wash there even if they shave).
Isn't it weird that only in the U.S. do women shave off their sexiest feature?

I met this dude, and he's 14, surprisingly, despite how he acts and how tall he was. I'm 16, almost 17, and he really likes me and I sorta have a soft spot for him. I'm looking to go into the force, and have seen people get hired with college degrees, and my brother who has a military background was turned down. I got an illegal transportation of alcohol ticket last night. I am 21 and I was not driving. I have a court date and I was wondering what I need to do and what could happen. How big of a fine will I more than likely get and do I need a lawyer? Will the cop that pulled us over be at my court date?

why when ever a person asks a question about ploice misuce of force or wrongful accusations the cops on here lie to themselves or respond with name calling.. i answerd a question and had a cop e-mail me calling me names..and just like they hide behind their badges he was hiding behind the internet,,so why do they get so mad,, because they know its true?

I went to court on 30 seperate occasion to give evidence against a gang of yobs roaming my area causing fear and violence. 14 were convicted two of them sent to jail for smashing my windows. Two of the thugs eventually killed a man just up the road from me, they only got five years in jail. They attacked this man with bricks and hit the man on his head. The judge made the comment "I know that you never meant to kill him". I had to put plastic on my windows to stop them smashing my them. The thugs that broke my ankle only got 12 months conditional discharge. The police and local politicains encouraged us to come forward and give evidence against these thugs and then left us to it.

yeah so a couple days ago i was fighting this guy 1on1 in school because he started it and i got him to the ground and started hitting him then his friend tried to run up on me and choke me but i threw him over me and then took my belt off and wrapped it around his neck and started choking him... then the securities/principle came and then they brought the police in this... and they told me that if i fought again im going to be in big trouble and have to go to court... but those same guys that i fought want revenge and im not afraid to fight them again i just dont want to get in trouble again... what can i do! i dont want people to think im scared of them

My friends hub came home drunk, beat her up and then smashed his son , a teenager, in the head with a shovel, choked him and tried to hit him in the head with a weight from a weight bench. He got arrested on several assault charges and due to his criminal drinking history...on top of jail he is now in a rehab. He was the sole read winner as a self employed contractor. After jail he is now in a rehab. Mom stayed at home with kids. She is now getting divorced and working 2 jobs and cant even pay most of the bills. He is court ordered to go to rehab for up to 9 months and its a lock up one...
Figure this, she just got a court order to appear in court to pay for his rehab and spousal support !
How is a victim of a violent crime commited against her and her son liable to pay for anything ????????
